So I went out, got parts and put together a little "stealth box" with no led, and used regular aaa rechargeables.. I wanted to use protected 14500 batteries, but could not find any locally. radio shack only had the usuals, and even the fancy "batteries plus" store gave me a line of bravado about how I needed a permit to buy protected cell batteries at 3.7 volts.. of course they had no problem selling lead acid batteries at 12, 9 or 6 volts  so where, locally can one aquire your typical mod battery? I thought of using an old cell phone battery that is 3.6 volt and 1500 mah, but it's too oblong for my battery boxes, and a replacement would run me 30 bucks or so and require an onboard charging plug.. so where do I find 14500's ? Any how this is what I came up with for starters, and although the atty connector is a bit on the crooked side, the thing's real solid and hits like a train, and having an off switch rocks.

I would definitely check out madvapes, they just got a bunch of 14500's in stock.

Yeah madvapes.com is good. If you are planning on buying 4 or more you can get a better price from altsmoke.com , both suppliers have excellent CS and fast shipping.

Edit: But Madvapes is Local to you, you could drop by the store and get them :)
