I had a bit of time to mess around with the short batteries last night and I wanted to share a few notes of what I have observed. Unlike the normal VK batteries the shorties definitely need a full charging cycle before use. They will work right away, but they work much better after the charge. Leaford recommended to me an 8 hour initial charge. These batteries also seem to take a bit to "break in". I have a couple that we a little finicky after the first charging cycle, but after the second charging cycle they sprang to life. These little babies put out a ton of vapor once they are dialed in. Also they have a harder draw than the standard batteries, which I, for one, enjoy. The other interesting thing I noticed was that as you use the battery and it becomes discharged the cutoff seems to decrease. For example I had one that was almost dead last night and the cutoff was around 4 seconds rather than the 7. It's kinda nice because it gives you a little heads up that it needs to be charged.

How long have they been lasting before they are totally dead?

like stated previously 3-4 hours of use sounds right for the shorts thats when you would loose vape and need to charge with ecig batts they never really get TOTALLY dead with use... the blinking that indicates that it needs charging is programed to go off before that point since you never really want a li-ion batt to go below 20%..... the one way it would be totally dead is if it just sits there for a long long time... I can't remember the time hehe

I received my order of a couple of shorties and cartomizers in today! I haven't had a chance to try out the new flavors yet. But the new shorties are sexy!! Here's a picture of the short VK next to the regular length VK. I don't have a long VK yet. That would complete the trinity of VK's.

The macro mode on my camera made the shorty look fatter, but it's not. It's the exact same width as the regular, just shorter.

PS. Thanks Steve/Mark for the bonus goodies!!! You guys rock!!!

Approx time for li-ion is about 1% a day.

Thanks sometimes I feel like I ramble data so I tend to just end my statements that way to keep from sounding like a Geek :p hehe

Thanks again

P.S. one shouldn't be leaving a batt all by itself that for that to cause its death....hehe
