I've been doing some extensive research (as I usually do before all of my online purchases) and I believe the Vapor King is for me. I plan on buying one at the end of the month when I get paid.

One of my main questions is: I am a light smoker (about a half a pack a day). I have seen Nobacco juice strengths 0, 6, 11, and 36. Even though I don't think I need 36mg, I was thinking about buying that strength to save money. My theory- Higher strength=Less puffs=Less carts/nobacco used=saves money. I'm a college student and have to be frugal. If you think this is a bad idea please let me know.

Another question is how much am I saving by refilling my carts? A pack of 5 carts and 20ml Nobacco is the same price. I read somewhere online that each cart has about .8ml in it. That would mean I would be getting the use of 16 carts for the price of 5 (wow, is this right?). What is your experience?

Also, how many refill uses have you gotten out of a cart before you need to replace it? I've read about 2-3 and sometimes a lot more.

I plan on buying the $69.50 Bundle (the one w/o the PCC) and a 20mL bottle of Nobacco juice. Will this keep me good for a while (considering I'm not a heavy smoker)?

Thank in advance. This seems like a really nice forum and Smilin seems like a great guy. Glad to be here.

You will regret not buying the PCC is you ever travel or have to walk to class etc.. The increase in MG does effect how it tastes and how you can vape it. Higher level strengths are sometimes not as enjoyable as the lower level strength, especially for those who are nto heavier smokers. It is a harsher inhale the higher lvl nic you go. for someone who smokes at your level I would go with no more than 18mg juice. However you can always get the highest nic juice and a bottle of 0 nic juice and cut it down to less.

I appreciate your fast reply. I don't travel much. I think the two batteries and USB battery passthru will be more than enough for now. I'll buy the PCC later if need be. Based on your information I think I'll have 16mg in the 5 carts and order a 36mg bottle of Nobacco. When one of the carts runs out, I'll fill it up with the 36mg. If it's too harsh, I'll order some 0mg and dilute it like you said.

Also, I smoke Newport 100s, which, as far as I read has one of the highest nicotine content.

Any input on my other questions?

Some people have gotten up to 10 refills on a single carto. For me, I refill once then I put the plugs back on and it goes in a coffee can. I am going to hang on to them in case things go sour with the FDA, or (God forbid!) the economy gets worse then it already is and things get tight.

I would definately pay a bit more and get the Ultimate Ultimatum kit, that will have everything you need and the PCC is really a must have in my book. I have it with me at all times.

I loved the auto batteries, but since the manual batteries came out, I find myself using them exclusively! They are awesome!

If you only smoke a half a pack a day, I can't see you using anything above 16mg. 24mg tops. 16 gives nice satisfying throat hits and taste, that is what I use during the day and at night I vape the 6mg.

And yeah, Steve is the bomb! I think you will be very happy with the VaporKing! Welcome to our little corner of the forum! ;)

I would suggest that, instead of buying the juice right away, you might want to go the route of choosing two packages of different flavored carts. It might take a couple or three flavors before you hit on the one that you really enjoy is what I am thinking. When I first started, I was convinced that I only wanted tobacoo flavored carts - none of those fruity ones at all. Now I have come a complete circle and only vape flavors that are NOT tobacco-y. Just thinking that if you order a bottle of juice right away you may find it is not quite to your liking and then you are stuck with it. Just a thought ...
Welcome to the VK world! You will be SO glad when you get your kit, believe me!!

I would love to try the VK.It seems like the people who use it are so happy with it.It just seems pretty expensive to use.How many cartomizers would a fairly heavy vaper use per day? I use an 801 and maybe 10ml every 4-5 days.Do you think I could use cartomizers on a protege?

I had a protege on order for my 510. I was trying to find ANYTHING that would make my 510 work for me. When my VaporKing arrived, I cancelled the order. VaporKing is all I need! It is the bomb! I use about 2 carts a day (not completely dry) 16mg during the day and 6 at night. I also refill to help cut costs. Even without refilling it is cheaper then cigs, and honestly, I would pay twice the price of cigs for taste, satisfaction and the fact that I am not smoking and not even missing it! THRILLED with my VK and with V4L! ;)

I just got my VK today and vaping on some Doc pepper as I type.I am not in any way a pro on PV's but I can tell you that my 510 that I just got last Wed. is on offical back up duty.I love the fact so far that once i get bored with doc pepper I can switch out carts and get a whole different flavor with out cleanning out the atty to not mix up flavors.Vape is warm throat kick is there and FLAVOR is AWSOME!I bought the full kit w/o the pcc wish I did buy the pcc but that will be next.On the forums here is a vid from KC that shows how to refill cartomizers with juice. That might be a good watch to see how easy it is to refill.

I love the freedom of the autos, but as with the 510, the manual makes for NO primer puff, which is awesome too!

At the end of the day, when I am out and about, I prefer the autos. When I am at home though, the manual is what I prefer.

Just ordered the manual passthru today, and am major stoked for it to arrive.

I went from a manual 510 to a auto VK and it took a little for me to get the "drag" right on the auto for it to vape but I now like it better than the Manual.I found with the manual the atty can get very hot if your not careful and I dont know if the Vk has the same problem as with the 510 that you can melt carts.
