Ok so I have 2 questions. First off I'm looking for a good SEALED 510 to ego adapter. I'll be using this on my Tesla mod with a protank. I know I could get a 510 to 510 but I think it would look best if I could use a beauty ring. Anyways so far I'm looking at 2 different ones, one from Provape which would come out to $9.90 (Ego-T Adapter) and one from v-ecigs for $4.50 (510 to eGo Adapter - Vices Electronic Cigarettes). Do you think the cheaper one would be just as good? Because ten bucks is quite a bit just for an adapter. If you know of any other places that actually sell sealed ones for a decent price please let me know. :)

And my second question is kinda confusing so I'll try to give all the details I can. I found a vivi nova aspire tank (Aspire Vivi Nova-S BDC Rainbow Finish $11.99 - VividSmoke.com) that I would really like to get but its dual coil (for now id just like to stick to single coils). I was also looking at an anyvape davide which happened to be a dual coil also (Anyvape Davide Glassomizer Aspire BDC Dual Coil 3.0ml - 2 Coils [gv-AnyVapeDavideBDC-CLEAR] - $21.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more) and the site selling it said that i could use regular protank coils with it and also aspire bdc coils...soo this leads me to believe that I could buy the Aspire bdc and it should work with just regular protank single coils. Correct?

from the site with the davide "
  • The Davide BDC adds a special collar at the base to accomodate this new design. If you remove this collar and remove a white plastic sealing grommet at the base of the locking tube(do not lose this as we do not have any replacements at this time) you CAN use regular Davide/Pro-Tank heads in the Davide BDC.
  • The Davide BDC utilizes the Aspire Bottom Coil replaceable heads that you can obtain elsewhere in this category."

Also I guess because the davide bdc says that you have to remove collar for it to allow the use of protank heads that unless the aspire has the same collar it wouldn't work...any ideas?

I found one from Vapoligy (510, stubby, connector, adaptor) has anyone ordered from this site before? I haven't heard of it. But the price seems low enough I'm willing to try it ($5.31 with s/h). I cant seem to find very many sealed 510 to ego adapters. Which is odd considering there are plenty of sealed 510 to 510 adapters out there.

i dont know if there is such a thing as a sealed adapter. and i dont think there is much difference in the ones out there. If a clearo leaks, the adapter just adds to the chaos. me thinks its just better to have a battery that accomadates wide base products. The adapters out there work good, but when the clearo leaks they cause shorts.

Well if the adapter is in fact sealed then that should atleast keep the ejuice off of my mod.
And how would the adapter cause a short?

the adapters I have (the standard ones they sell) you can take them apart they are not sealed, (ie waterproof) what happens is when a clearo leaks it leaks right through the adapter and into the mod, and the mod shorts, the liquid causes the electricity from the battery to just short out, if happens your ohm meter (if you have one on your mod, starts reading all over the board) its happened to me, mainly when I used CE5 clearos, which leak a lot. it didnt wreck my mod but i had to clean it out.

as far as compatibility of coil heads, I dunno, you got me wether they are or not.
