I've had the best luck filling blank cartomizers but if you leave off the white rubber cap during the drying time,it helped get rid of the oily taste and dripping.How can air get down into the small hole of cartomizer with the bottom plug in?
To clean cartomizers I take off white cap use Everclear,200 proof or very close to 100% ethanol or drinking alcohol.The proof of alcohol is twice the percentage/volume.So 80 proof Vodka is just 40% alcohol.
You can clean 5-20 at a time by using a pill bottle.Just put in the cartomizers let set for a day and shake every 2-3 hours.Save the alcohol for you can use it again in the same pill bottle.Just put on cap because alcohol asorbs water,plus Everclear is very flammable.To dry you must blow out the excess alcohol asorbed by the filler.You can let it dry just by letting it set out for a few days or heat oven to about 100 degrees and put cartomizers on a flat pan to dry w/o cap on.
Another thing I found is that there are two small holes below the threads on battery where cartomizer attaches.You can only get one to match the notches in cartomizer but it will draw easier.
I live one state away so I get my refills in 2-3 days,plus Vapor4Life does stand behind what they sell and I only smoke about 5-6 cigarettes/month so I save over 120.00/month using Vapor4Life.
