Hi all

just wanted to ask a question. We've lent a friend our old 510 to try along with a variety of juices ranging in nic levels and vg/pg, straight vg, straight pg.
No matter which juice he tries, his throat constricts so I'm wondering if he could be having a reaction to the fibre in the 510 cartos? What do you think?
I guess our next step would be to loan him an eGo with tank tip and see what happens

he's tried using one flavour at a time and same result. It happens with the first one or two vapes and then he's fine. It is ticking him off because he can smoke cigs no problem. We think maybe he's sensitive to vg and pg or the fibre .....he really wants to stop the smokes.
Ok dripping it shall be.

also remember people sometimes have to "start smoking" again when they start vaping, coughing and such, also could be too much heat for the person if you are using a 510 with horizontal carts

oh that's right too!! I read about that when I first started!! Thanks, I'll tell him :)

if an offending juice goes into an atty, changing juices doesn't always help. I had to give away hardware if I vaped a juice that didn't agree with me. boiling, washing etc wouldn't take the stuff out that constricted my throat. turned out to be artificial sweeteners that made me sick for the most part, though some other flavourings did too.

that's good to know thanks! He's tried tobacco flavoured, fruit flavoured, bubblegum flavoured and maple flavoured. What ended up working for you? Speaking of cleaning, I just saw this on jugheads

Under their mods section

Jugheads.co Complete Atomizer and Cartomizer Cleaning System.

1ct - Battery powered Jugheads.co Sonic Cleaner

2 sets of AA batteries included!

1ct - The Jugheads.co "Juggerknot" ™ (must have power drill)

1ct-50ml Liquid Super Safe Cleaner "Special AwesomeSauce"

1ct - Online Basic Instructions (click here)

Tip: *Tho our "awesomesauce" is 100% safe! Please Do Not Vape!*

Only $19.99

wonder if it works. Cleaning is a pain in the ....

Jokesmoke worked for me. personally I didn't clean the stuff. I used it, blew out attys now and then and tossed them away. a carto is a buck. if it lasts 3-5 days then toss it out. still way cheaper than smoking and you have no issues of vaping charred filler and crap. an atty would last way longer with a reo but when it started tasting burnt then it was time for a change. $8 and if it lasted say a month... come on, don't be cheap. put a new one on... don't treat vaping like the guy rolling butts from ashtrays

hahahahaha no I don't clean. I toss! hahaha. You're funny :)
I was just wondering if cleaning works because I was thinking of being that guy rolling butts from ashtrays hahaha. Joke smoke eh? Is there a Cdn supplier for that? I could buy some and give it a shot

Yes they are Canadian: Jugheads << JokeSmoke signature is what he's talking about. It's a light flavor but it's good.

edit: I wouldn't suggest you try any of their other "tobacco" flavors, the rest are terrible

You could try some plain PG or VG with no flavorings added to see if it is one or the other. If he can vape one or both of those, try some widely varied flavors and see what happens. Caramel, vanilla, chocolate and other non-tobacco flavors are generally less harsh.

thats a good idea. I do have some plain of both! Thanks

510 cartridges wick horribly. (EDIT: just saw you're using cartos, nvm.) He might be getting dry hits, which can be a throat destroyer, imo. If he gets the same reaction from dripping, then it might be the PG. That said, sometimes new vapers get that throat sensitivity and it goes away within a week or two. If it's bad, as in painful... then he should try VG only juice.

And as Pipeous will testify, some people have a chemical sensitivity to certain flavorings.

Just have to eliminate the variables.
