Very good find TB, that is pretty cool.
When Bob first posted this thread I was at the point of deciding whether to go down the PG or VG route. After reading the post I thought I would stick with the PG (as he is doing) to see if it did help with the usual round of winter germs. Being in a job where I come into contact with lots of other people I normally catch most things going round. Well so far this season I have had two colds, and fingers crossed no flu. The interesting thing for me is that the colds have been only sinus related, no cough, no chest infection when others have caught what is probably my germs and had bad coughs and chest infections with them. Whether this is a coincidence or related to me no longer smoking I don't know, but when I have ever had a cold before it is always had a cough with it. So for now I am going to stick with the PG.
Here's the testing I'd like to see done now:
1. The new resistant tuberculosis strain. A passenger on an oversea airline brought it to America week or so ago. Since PG killed other TB germs, could it work on this one that resists known treatments?
2. H5N1. The bird flu virus. It's a flu, all right, a mutated virus. It's the Big Fear for a global pandemic. Why not test PG vapor on a petri dish of H5N1?
