A hey to you guys

New here, I thought a hey to you vape guys.

My name is Timothy Morgan. Like most of you, I catch vaping as my tobacco alternative. I remember my first smoke was at my twenty, after 5 years, I had a rough cough which hurt my lungs much. After that, I learned my lesson. I made my resolution to give up smoking with my family support, especially from my aunt, who has been smoking for decades and now in her lung cancer 3A.

Tried cold turkey, nicotine patches, champix. None of it can cope with my withdrawal symptoms and cravings until I used my KR808 e-cig. But been vaping these years, I found it is a rough road which really annoyed me much. Dry burnt, flooding, gurgling, leakage, too much barriers to hold us to reach a smooth draw.

Given to my years’ vape experience, I thought it is necessary to join you, to discuss vaping things. I also heard some of you are pro. And I expect I can find my vape answers here with you guys, meanwhile, do a little bit “contribution”, share my vape collection using experience.

All in all, I am finally here, it is nice indeed.

Where you least expect it....
Welcome to ECF! Congratulations on making the decision to transition to e-cigarettes. I'm extremely sorry to hear about your mother.

The problems that you are experiencing with your KR808 is fairly normal with cigalikes that use cartridges. I would suggest getting an ego starter kit. As that is a fairly basic unit and can be easily used until you upgrade to a more advanced device. I'm sure others will chime in with their recommendations as well.

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you came here instead of going back to cigarettes - that's terrific! I agree with Unforseen, a better set-up might make all the difference for you. An eGo starter kit or an istick with a mini Nautilus tank wouls go far toward getting you a better vape. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have, and good luck with your journey!

Thanks that much.

I too am currently using the Kanger 808d-1 batteries. I like the small size for vaping pretty much anywhere. I also found a T4 clearomizer which works nice on them and the Esmart clearomizer also works well on them. Although the Esmart clearo is slightly larger diameter than the battery, not bad though.

From my personal view, this realm has already moved on, and it is no longer limited to that 808 or ego. I suggest try some clearomizers like kanger protank or Aspire nautilus.
