I think its about time for another review of all the GV items I've recently gotten...well all in one day pretty much. Tho I may be a helper I am still gonna tell you my honest opinion about all items and if kolo dun like it well...he can kiss my
I'll start off with main thing I was hesitant to try.
For those that dont remember or do remember the original gripper, heres a side by side of old vs new
The Main Differences, Well first off, the differences are NOTHING BUT GOOD. First,
*no more rounded bottom so i can actually have something on it and it stays upright. Old gripper, if you had a tank on it, due to its rounded bottom it would lean and usually fall right over, so I always put it in a roll of duct tape while on my desk. Annoyed the crapola out of me.
*The 'power' switch is on the top, fog horn style in the new one. Again I hated the button on the original, it looked cool all crystal like but placement was horrible.
*Then theres the atty connection. The original had a recessed atty hole which prevented any tanks unless you got a extender. The new one is flush, give more options on what to use.
* Plus *without posting too many pics, the original had a tiny little hole on top for venting its ok, sure but this new one gots a speaker looking hole on the back so, gasses not in your face if something goes wrong....just in the palm of your hand if your a righty.
*And Finally it actually feels better built. It has a extra power button for main power and other features instead of having to click the fire button 7 times to turn off, you now have a separate button for it.
Now for those that dont remember my complaints about the first one I'll give a little background. First one I was VERY vocal about the problems I had with it, and others did too. The atty connection wiggled. Well for me it wiggled enough that well.....
It Wiggled out of its own hole broke off the wires and became a nice paperweight.
This new one I will say, the atty connector does still wiggle a TINY bit but I seriously doubt in my honest opinion it will pose much of a problem It wiggles maybe about 3 hairs each way, which is not much. Now The main thing I will worry about with this new one is, over usage. Letting your atty/carto get too hot that it makes the plastic expand. I dont think it will happen, but its one thing that comes to mind being a plastic housing. With that being said, I love this little guy. Its very functional, however I will say when using larger tanks and such I will probably use a metal mod because I have it always in my pocket and am worried I'd knock the connector out of its hole but thats just me from my past experience speaking.
I really do recommend this unit and feel variable volt users, or people wanting to try out the option would love this Tom Thumb mod *thats what im gonna call it from now on*
So The New VV Gripper gets.....4 Dancing bananas!

Part 2, The Phoenix 3ml
Like many I have tried the phoenix by itself, I personally did not like it. The flavor was always muted to me so I always had it as a 'back up' incase I was too poor to buy cartos. However, I gave this 3ml tank a try. And I must say I dunno if theres a new version of phoenix in it or maybe its the tank having more distance between wick and tube but....THIS THING ROCKS!!
The body style of the tank reminds me honestly of the C8 Kryptonite, Same top to it, *which I just tried something and am pleasantly happy so I'll post a pic*
If you have the screw on top from the GV site, IT WORKS ON THE PHOENIX TANK!
Wrong color for the mod its on but really, I dun know if it was designed that way on purpose or not but...you got yourself a option to use a screw top. I dont have a ego battery, but I would imagine it would look awesome with a battery, tank, screw top.....
With this just found out, this makes the phoenix tank for me.....5 dancing bananas!

Now these things I enjoy quite a bit, they are clear in colorful tubing, they are cartos and tiny. Those features together are great. The clear, well...so you can see how much juice you got. Cartos and tiny together well, makes great use for testing new flavors and not wasting too much.
For me, I cant do a flavor for too long. I get tired of it in matter of hours, so I usually have 2 or 3 cartos going at the same time in one day. Being that they are tiny, I love the fact that I can fill it, maybe 1 or 2 times and change flavors before I decide 'why am I vaping this?!'. It gives quicker option to change out flavors.
They are easy to clean, and the clear tube helps with that a bit, you can really see how clean it is after washing it out.
So these little guys for me get a full.....5 dancing bananas!

I ordered samplers of Hush, Berryblue Baccy, Code red dew and because Danno is a angel in Robert De Niro disguise he gave a sample of Creamy Sicle.
I will start out with saying I loved the Hush, it had a nice tropical taste too it that wasn't too overpowering or strong. It was very light but enough that you could taste every bit of it.
The BerryBlue Baccy, I hated at first, really I did. But kept coming back to it for some reason. Eventually I started to enjoy it, not as much as the hush but yes, I enjoyed it. It had a nice blueberry overtone but a ummm hmmm ...a Swisher Sweet Black Cigarillo. So maybe this is what the Swisher sweet blueberry Cigarillo tastes like? I dunno never tried it and wont break my streak of no tobacco to find out. But I'm at the point really, I enjoy it but dont know how often I'd use it. I may get a bigger bottle and use half than pif the rest?
The Dew Red Alert......I must say....I didnt like it and still dont. Maybe drinking the real thing for so long, my taste buds reject anything thats not the real thing but This....no, I tried twice and wont come back to again. When Me No Likey, Me No Likey, Red Alert sleeps with the fishys now.
Now The bonus Flavor, The Creamy Sicle. HOLY CRAP I WANT MORE, It was the perfect blend of orangness to it with the cream. If Danno added some of the stuff that make juices feel 'cold', Koolada I believe, This thing would be spot on! I even went to the local gas station and got a Orange Cream Pop to compare and yes, with the coldness factor, it would be 100% spot on!

Part 3, The Shorty Cartos
Now, I knew these things were gonna be short, but I think Danno should change the name from shorty to teensywincy. I thought from pictures on site that they would be a little bigger than they are but they are same size as an atty, maybe a hair difference but yes, side by side on the desk to my eyes, the same exact height as a atty.
Now these things I enjoy quite a bit, they are clear in colorful tubing, they are cartos and tiny. Those features together are great. The clear, well...so you can see how much juice you got. Cartos and tiny together well, makes great use for testing new flavors and not wasting too much.

Part 4, The juices
I haven't really wanted to try any of the juices. I never did like many of the original juices and I gave many a try. However, since the base changed for juices a while back, I thought it was time to give a few a try and happy I did.
I ordered samplers of Hush, Berryblue Baccy, Code red dew and because Danno is a angel in Robert De Niro disguise he gave a sample of Creamy Sicle.
