My eGo batteries are going 24hrs plus. I switch them every morning, I understand your only supposed to get 12hrs from them, is there a problem with these batteries, I know this does not sound like an issue but I'm worried that the batteries will die for good a lot sooner because of this. They are not the XL batteries.

Don't worry about it, you obviously don't vape as heavy as I do. And for the record, LiIons like to be recharged before they are fully discharged. You're doing it right charging them before they are fully discharged.

Very glad to hear that, it was a big concern I had.
Why is that though? That the lithium ion batteries like being recharged, before a full discharge.

Just the nature of the beast. Most batts are like that. The only batts that are not like that are NiCads. They need to be fully discharged or they get a memory effect. Even NiMhmms will do better if you don't drain them flat. And yes, when fully discharged the eGo batt LED will flash several times and no longer vape.

interesting so it just stops vaping all together? not just slowly dies out, thats a great feature.

You're fine, I have the same issue with my Riva (if you want to call it an issue). I've never had a dead battery and I only charge mine every 2nd or 3rd day or so just because I think it's time. When I was researching and first got it I saw many saying 6-8 hours in between charges for the Ego and Riva, still can't believe I vape that much less. Guess I'm a lightweight.

They do lose a little "heat" for the last couple of draws. If I am not occupied doing something, I usually notice and put it on charge. I try not to run them flat. They have a protection circuit so that they cannot be run completely flat, as that WILL kill a LiIon.
