A little help Please with hardware

I am finding myself a little overwhelmed when looking for vaping accessories so I am hoping you folks can help me out. I purchased the joytech starter kit a while ago. I hated the tanks that came with it so now I am using some $5 kanger tanks I got online and they have been fine. My girlfriend just started using my vape so I was going to get an extra battery and some tanks. So here is where I need your help. What is the difference between the 650 and 1000 batteries, is it just longer battery life or is it more power to the e-cig. Can my ego-c ver 1 atomizers work with the eco-c twist, the bigger 1000 mha model, and can it be used with other battery brands(if so feel free to recommend one).
For tanks I am looking at Aspire - Vapeonly 3.0ml ET-S Glass BDCC Kit (Bottom Dual Coil Clearomizer) and the Kangertech Mini Protank 3 III 1.5ml Bottom Dual Coil Pyrex Glass Cartomizer . I would like to see a little more cloud than I currently get and I see some tanks seem to have adjustable air flow, do these work? I am open to any tank suggestions you all might have. Also please explain why some tanks are $5 and some $20 and up.
I am using this as a portable vape, tuck it in my pocket and go so tanks not prone to leakage are important, if you read all this thanks a bunch for your time.

These days I would spend a little bit more on your kit. A subtank mini will give you the option to use stock coils or rebuild...either way a significant upgrade from Kanger's older stuff.

As for your device, I'd consider an istick 30w or 50w or, better yet, a sigelei mini 30w. Any of these are going to power your subtank better than an ego-style battery.

The Nautilus Mini's not a bad starter tank to eyeball either, coils are pretty cheap and plentiful these days, flavor's top notch, and you can fill the tank up and go a full work day on it generally, no sub-ohm'ing with it, but it'll be a huge step up from what you're vaping on currently.

I agree that something along the line of the iStick 30 would be a solid move up the mod/battery side of the house, gives you allot of flexibility down the road as well if you decide to try something with a lower build in it and the battery life compared to the ego's will seem like madness to you, lol.

Enjoy the journey!

So I see I can get the kit below for $35 in canada, can I simply use the tanks I have now and attach to this battery?

The iStick 50w would be a nice battery choice for you. It's 4400mah so you'd get a lot of vaping time. More mah does not give you more power per se, just longer time to use that power. The Aspire Nautilus or Nautilus mini would be some great tanks to move to. I have recommended those to many people, they were the last tank that I used before moving to sub-ohm vaping. Once you go to sub-ohm vaping (lots of us end up there) I would suggest starting with one of the tanks first. You have plenty of choices, Aspire Atlantis, Kanger Sub-Tank, Joyetech Delta 2, and many many others. Start with the tanks first, that will get you in to the experience of sub-ohm without requiring you to do all the building on your own at first. This will give you time to fully learn about the different mods out there and battery safety before you get in the the RDA's and making your own coils.

So I re-read and you recommended the 30W, below is the deal for here in canada at $40. I see posts about "mods" where you need Ohm meters and have t obe careful, I don't want to be messing around, I want to fill a tank and puff. Let me know if the deal below is a good one.

bjh1230, that's not a bad price for the iStick 30W, but you're still going to need a tank (preferably two or three) to go on it. The iStick is just the battery. Several excellent tanks have already been recommended on this thread.

Larry! Come on!! What are you trying to do to this guy?! LoL 2 or 3 tanks! Your hilarious!!

OK, let me try to answer your specific questions instead of trying to sell you on something new.

Yes, the only difference between a 1000 mAh and a 650 mAh is battery life. Unless one is some kind of variable voltage (twist, spinner, etc). Also, some batteries are regulated, meaning they hold the same voltage thru the life of the charge. Some are unregulated, meaning they start at 4.2 volts and slowly die down to about 3.4 volts. If all of your egos are the same (i.e. Joyetech) then the only difference is battery life. Joyetechs are usually regulated at 3.4 volts I think.

Anything that will fit on one ego, should fit on another ego. The ego/510 threading is pretty universal.

Tanks will vary in price. Some are made mostly of plastic, some are stainless steel and pyrex glass. Also, newer models tend to be more expensive than older models.

Well first of all let say that I stumbled here via a Google search and couldn't be happier that I did, so far this thread has been full of awesome ideas/info and feedback. I went ahead and ordered the ileaf 30 for around 37 Canadian. Now where I am stumped and this may be a dumb question, when I look at the iLeaf I see the threading is recessed into the device, and so obviously the tanks I have now aren't going to work, my question is, are there adapters I can buy to use my current tanks that are ego-c friendly, is there a piece I need to buy still? I saw a recommendation of the nautilus mini tank and it seems cool but raises the question, how do you guys vape? Currently I have a bunch of $6 tanks filled with various flavors that I can switch whenever I want. I really like this, however having a collection of $30+ tanks is just not viable for me.

Thanks all, they were out of the bundle I posted and I had to purchase it sans ego adapter, I ordered a couple of the gs air tanks from another vendor at $12 a pop as per one of the other posts and emailed the vendor about adding an adapter to my order, thx again for all the feedback and help, I'll post a review when it arrives.
