Hi all,
Just got my first order from GV - Vivi Nova & Mini Nova. I've got a problem with the Mini, the big one works fine. All 5 heads I got test fine on the Vivi Nova (high ohm readings but I do get readings). On the Mini Nova I cannot get any ohm readings at all.

Thought I'd check here in case anyone has already found a "fix" I can try.

Thanks for any help

Most of the heads I have used start out high....after some use, they seem to settle in pretty close to where they are supposed to be. On the mini....if you can't get anything...sounds like maybe you aren't getting connection to the battery?????

The positive contact is a solid post that runs from the 510 connector to the head. Compare the mini nova 510 center post to the full size nova. I suspect the mini nova isn't making contact either at the 510 connector (pushed too far into the 510 connection) or at the head (sticking out too far on the 510 connection.

It's held in place by a silicon washer, so you should be able to push it up or down so it makes proper contact at both ends.

Thank you both.

Just to make sure I understand correctly - the positive post on the Mini sticks out further at the bottom(510 end) than the big Nova, are you saying just to push that in?
Should it be flush?

Kemo...you rebuild your own heads. You ought to know that!

i havent done any rebuilding.....yet. im still researching and figuring out if its right for me (which im starting to think i wont find out until i actually try it :/

i had absolutely zero clue that that post could be adjusted with such ease. i believe it was danno that mentioned it but there was no description on how to do it. i tried twisting it but that was all my feeble little mind could muster up. afterwards i just natually assumed asdjusting it was on some next-level type of thing involving tools and whathaveyou.

im just glad i read this thread, which is weird that i did bc i dont even own a mini nova. ...yet.
