IMHO, the only reason they are so sought after is because of their low production. There are many mods just as nice looking and hit harder available. The Caravela's list is already full so unless people drop from the list, you'll have to purchase it at a ridiculous price second hand. Pedro, the maker of the mod stated he was only making 999 of the Caravelas. The Chi you on the other hand is supposed to be more accessible , but so far it seems you have to live in socal in order to get one from on the shops mojo is distributing them to.

Your better off getting a Nemesis, GP paps Lux, Poldiac, or Roller. The only thing I can see the Caravela or Chi you hitting harder than the mods I mentioned is in your wallet if you end up buying one of those 2 from the classi's.

Thanks buddy. Is there anything that should be looked at when getting a mod? Brass connectors?

Copper is a better conductive metal and silver is the best conductive metal. But both tarnish and you have to keep them clean. It's not too much of a pain.

I have a brass Chi You and an Nzonic V3. I've also had the opportunity to take a few hits from a Caravela. There's a noticeable difference between the Chi and Nzonic, but I really couldn't tell the difference between the Chi and Caravela.

The Caravela is beautiful though. You're definitely spending the cash bc it's rare and well designed. There are a ton of cheaper, harder hitting mods out there, even some Chinese clones perform better, but IMHO you'll be hard pressed to find another that is so beautifully designed.
