ah that didn't turn out. i ended up doing an ebony stain and left the caps the natural oak - and some of the dark bled into the natural. i finished it with tung oil - but now everything tastes funny. i am disgusted with myself that i even messed with it and didn't just let you do it. but, live and learn.

its a amazing mod set up that way..... brad builds a sweet mod regardless... if you dont mind the wait its well worth the modest price.... i defenetly am happy with the plunger location.....
