lrd, that is amazing work. I never found any of the various plastic mods interesting until I saw yours. You and Chris deserve all the accolades being heaped upon you.
And to jump on the same bandwagon as the estimable Brutus a Garnet and gold with some of these would certainly make a handsome fellow:

i have a special place in my hart for my phid's.. as wood work goes there is no one here on ecf with the skill set that fono possess.. his knowledge of the trade trumps all who journey in.. i hope by the time i catch up in age to him i can poses a graet portion of what he knows of the wood working trade. he has dedicated his life to it after all. and its reflected in his works.
just because i can build my mods it will never stop me from buying others... i have several and do not see a end to my purchased colection.... lol.. theres some great builders out here on ecf...

Ok saw the vid for skeeters even on cam it looks like it has wood grain! I love the improvements, I love the channel for wires, I got worried i was gonna end up yanking one when i was putting in the bottle. Regardless of the improvements, I still think of the one you sent me as honestly one of the best things I own. I dont mind the tightness, or the fact that the battery doesnt touch the bottom properly because the battery leans, but thats easy fixed with some dimes even using that ultrafire crap battery you said *weird*. This is one thing I will not let get damaged or ruined, and will continue to treasure it. I was confused about no needle in the middle but the vid answered that great.
On that note I'll trade up for skeeters now LOL I love the look of hers you did some damn fine craftmanship with that and the color tip to boot!

i like them.... there no custom wood mod... but there miles above other plastic mods...... there a good center point... still custom wile being able to be built and produced fairly reasonably for material cost... wait till you see the cool stuff i have coming for coloring these bad boys... i got the purple to try first.... it worked so perfectly i had to order about 7 or 8 more colors...
yah im kinda digging this stuff.... i definitely a wood guy but these seem to appeal to me a hole lot.. maybe just because there new and exiting... i may finish up a few more bodies tomorrow after work... with any luck i will have this threads "wood" in soon....
Got my feeder that Lenny built today. Its really nice, well built and gorgeous! Sure, beautiful wood is nice, but this resin that is used to build it seems indestructible. And I had a drip tip that looks fantastic on it. Now its time to charge my 18650, and break out a brand new atty.

Looks great Godzilla! Mine didn't make it today so the postman is in trouble tomorrow. At least my 4 bay charger arrived.
