Has anyone ever experienced this? At first it started with a lot of Mt. Baker Vapor ejuices but now it seems to be spreading to a few others. Is this a sign that my coils are getting old and need to be replaced? Or is it poor cleaning of the clearomizers (Aspire BDC, Iclear 30, Smoktech Vivi Nova)?
A lot of my ejuices are now giving me an isopropyl alcohol/ammonia taste

I usually soak in hot water for a while (with a few changes of water) and then soak the heads in vodka. I recently picked up a couple bottles of 95% everclear and now use those to soak the heads. I rarely use isopropyl but have used it occasionally to clean the contacts.
If or when I do an alcohol (any alcohol) soak, I always follow it with a super hot water soak. I microwave a cup of really hot tap water for one minute, drop the alcohol soaked attys in it and let it cool to room temp. Then I pass them under the tap for a final rinse. Then I blot with paper towel and "dry" burn... not really dry but to evaporate off moisture from the wick that passes through the coil. Not until I do this do I get juice on it. If you can't get the alcohol taste out now I would say its time to replace the wick.
