After continually seeing ECF in my searches (and often using the results to figure s*** out), I guess it's time I finally get around to registering.
I am a fairly seasoned vaper in Red Deer, Alberta (where it was -30'C/-22'F yesterday - drippers with delrin drip tips are definitely your friend when it gets like that). I unofficially started vaping Oct 2013 with an Ego kit I bought in Nashville, TN before finally deciding to get serious about it in June 2013. Last smoke was June 29, 2013.
I have spent a great deal of time understanding the science and engineering behind vaping (yeah, I am a complete turbo-nerd), and have parlayed that into a tackle box full of gear which can only be justified to the wife by working part time at a vape shop to pay for my gear. Thankfully, we have a don't ask, don't tell policy when it comes to gear (which is a damn good thing, 'cause my box is full of authentics) - the only thing she ever asks is whether or not I spent my whole paycheque.
I like reg mods well enough, but I can confidently say that I am a mech mod fan. There is something to be said for having to balance a whole host of different limitations to get the best possible performance. I find that much more challenging than just jacking up or throttling the voltage.
My current favorite setup is my black Stingray X with Canadian Edition 454 when I am looking for flavor, or my Brass Monkee 26650 rig if I feel it is no longer necessary to be able to see in front of me.
Anyways, hopefully I can learn and share some more here as time goes by.
