That MSDS refers to the pure stuff.

Here's an European MSDS to 18 mg /ml liquids ;

That's why you have these uneven numbers on the nic base sometimes. Like 72 mg/ml in the EU. Anything above that is classed as poisonous and you'd need a permit to sell,buy,store or handle it. And the permit you'd get only after taking a rather expensive training course. Unless you're a certified pharmacist or chemists. Is part of their certification for their job.

Nowadays, is 48 mg/ml max, due to some finetuning of the chem regs.

There's stickies in the DIY section about safe handling/precautions. No need to gear up like Dustin Hoffmann in 'Outbreak', but even diluted, we're dealing with a harmful substance nevertheless. No point in feeding the ANTZ propaganda machine with bad news. Common sense, common caution, Just as we're admonishing mech modders to play it safe with their batteries, we oughta play it safe with DIY-liquids as well.

Plenty got hurt by using BT's products. No need to carry that over to vaping :)

Vape safe, mix safe :)

I've been doing DIY since July and working with 100mg nic. I'm not intimidated. I'm exposed to chemicals at work I wish weren't there and are far more hazardous, including isocynate (remember Bopal?). Why don't our dear protectors take more interest in chemicals in work places. I considered buying a bottle of 250mg nic to save space and decided to pass. If necessary I'll get a 1 cu ft medical freezer. I'm not worried about mixing with 250 mg it but I would not want the job of cleaning up a spill. I'm not scared of 100mg in a worst case scenario if I'm wearing nitrile gloves and eye protection.
