A month pre order...crazy !

I'm properly peed off. I put in a pre order for the Vandy vape Pulse Dual 220W TC VW Squonk Box mod Kit at 3FVape on the 1st Dez. On enquiry now they tell me their stock is only expected in the 26th Dez. That is just plain crazy. A week or two I could always live with, but this is getting out of hand.
Needless to say I cancelled it and will get it later from some other supplier.
Just thought i'll blast off here, so I can hopefully feel better... suppose I will by tomorrow or so.

I went through this twice the past few months. One was the Naboo which was worth the wait and also the Drag 2, which that one is already having paint to chip.

Been there and done that. ...The wait is crazy!

It seems preorders from the Chinese vendors take longer to fill than those of US vendors on the same item. I think it's because they put pre-orders up earlier than US vendors (not sure the rules on preorders in the US and how long you can make them before delivery) but for whatever reason it happens with all of them. Then you have the prolonged shipping process. If waiting a long time is acceptable and the savings significant, I guess you have to decide if it's worth it over a US vendor (or whatever country you reside in).

Dot get me wrong. I don't mind waiting. Buying vape stuff online is a waiting game, and I can play the game...very patiently
Its just to me, there's a psychological cut off time when it comes to pre order. A week or two seems fair, but a month UH UH....me and my money is feeling like we're being taken advantage off.
Like I said I cancelled, so we now feel like we got some respectability back...psychologically that is

I think almost every pre-order I've ever done from China has showed up at US vendors either before or just a day or two behind the Chinese vendors.

For me, it's all about whether I'm willing to wait for the shipping time from China or not. I don't really bother pre-ordering these days. If there's something I really want, I'll check the US vendors I shop at daily until I see it come in.

The Drone preorder will be a month before it ships, hopefully later this week.

From what I've seen so far, sites offering pre-orders are overly optimistic about the expected delivery date.

Yeah i've been around the vaping block a few times. I don't agree with leaving my money with them for a month...uh uh !!!
They just agreed to refund me, so I ordered me a Lostvape Orion locally, that i'll have by the weekend
