Hi all. Finally registered for this forum! Actually, today is a month and 1 day w/o analogs after 15 years straight of pack-a-day smoking.

I wasn't even planning on quitting smoking. A co-worker showed up one day with a disposable e-cig and it piqued my interest, so I decided to try one out. I was still smoking analogs, but much fewer than before I started with the disposables. So, I decided to get a rechargeable system. Went with Greensmoke and they were much better than the disposables, and I was able to completely stop analogs with them, but then I found this forum and read about the eGo-T. Damn it! I should've just started with that! So, I ordered one and haven't touched the greensmokes since. So much better and so many more varieties of juice to choose from. I really like the eGo...but...I think I've got the bug. My Pro-Vari just shipped today.

Anyway, hello everyone!

Thanks for the welcome, everyone!

I know, the ProVari was quite a chunk of change. Still, I'd MUCH rather spend that money on it than on cigarettes! I'm amazed at how effective e-cigs are. Like dormouse said, I'm pretty much an "accidental" quitter. I never really made any commitment to quit, it just sort of happened.

After I started vaping, I got down to one analog a day for three days straight. I then wondered why I was even having that one a day. I didn't even feel like I needed it, and it didn't taste very good. So that was it!

I'm so happy to have discovered vaping. And this forum seems like a great place.

I'm sort of the same way Mike! I met a friend one day at the mall, and he was my smoking/chewing buddy for a while.. He showed me his E-cig and I was like "nah.. tried them, they suck.." Then I took my first hit and was shocked. So, after some thinking I took the plunge, and have quit.

Congrats on your one month! We must have started around the same time.. but you are two steps ahead of me! I'm looking at getting the ego now! :p If you are satisfied with your Provari, wanna ship the ego my way! :)

Haha, best of luck man!!

Hi and welcome to the forum! Congrats on quitting. I'm 3 months in and loving every minute of vaping!

You know it's funny, I was introducted to vaping with a disposable too. I was at a friends and she gave me one to take home...I liked it right away. I purchased my first system (a Vapornine Nebula) at the beginning of September and haven't touched an analog since!

Enjoy your new lifestyle!

Yeah, I'm pretty much full-blown into this. Completely have the hardware bug right now. From my brief time on this forum it seems I'm following the typical path. And I couldn't be happier!

Funny, three years ago I'd planned on quitting smoking on my bday. Well, that came and went with nothing happening. Then without any planning, here I am analog free for a month. Just such a great alternative. Hopefully the FDA won't screw us all out of this obviously safer alternative.
