By the way, it has been recently suggested by another manufacturer that you patent your switch design in the U.S. You'd be surprised who suggested it.
Of course a patent won't do much good in China, but what does?

Just to put in my two cents - I agree with Mistress about the simplicity and lower cost of the GGTB (Mostly cause I'm broke and stupid when it comes to gadgets). I bought the GGTB because I could afford it and I knew I could operate it without being a scientist. So, I hope any additions will simple and relatively inexpensive. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

it's the manufacturer of the bottle hanging dripper apparatus, the one who attempted the 4-in-1 adapter after you did yours. i'm sure you'll get some questions about this situation and your thoughts regarding patents when you have your interview on sunday. as most already know, your button design was already copied elsewhere, and i feel like it should never have come down to this, but your button and all of your innovations could easily be taken again, put in a mod with a minor difference, repackaged and patented by someone else right before your eyes. then you'd receive a cease and desist letter to stop selling a design that you created and shared with the world. i hope that's not the case, imeo, but it seems entirely possible and as things exist now i feel it's a sad day for vapers everywhere.
Well something I've learned on being able to prove an idea was yours before anyone else's. Put it on paper plans / drawings /schematics etc.. and mail it to yourself via certified mail (requiring a signature) to yourself and do not open it after you accepted it. Then you have registered, dated and documented proof that has not been opened if ever needed. This should be done with any ideas that are intended for use in order to prove the idea was originally yours.

Guys, I will tell you some things about patants that I have said before on forum but only a few people read. I cant patent anything if its already in use or already sold. So not me and not anyone else can patent my designs. Of course my button copied first from nhaler, (he made a direct copy of the whole design of GGGrant), then from puresmoker etc. Italians copied the telescope system, a member here told me that he will make a 4 in 1 adapter like mine, AVS has copied 1.000 times from various people etc.
If you want to be "protected" you have to patent what you make first and then to sell it. I never did that because there is no real protection with a patent. Anyone can copy anyone. What matters is what the customers does. If the customer buys from copier (that found something ready without any effort) then a patent cant do many things about it. Also patents are silly papers that dont count at all. I tried to patent the GGTS and I had a patent number that it was on my signature months ago but when I understand what was going on with patents I stop bothering myself with it.

The guy is basically sending letters to anybody that makes mods with bottom buttons, and saying they must cease production because it is breaching his pending patent. It is very sad.
I saw him mention you in one of his posts, your GGTS and GGTB don't count because they have a top button (and your button is better anyway because it locks)
Your GG Slim has a bottom button though, i hope he doesn't send you a letter telling you to stop making those.

Firefly, noone can patent anything that I have already made and I have already sell. Also GG forum is the one that anyone can trust with closed eyes. Here you can find the truth of everything. Many other forums here are just funny
I hope that is true, I use your GG mods every day of my life and i always look forward to the new ones
No worries guys, noone can stop me from making my best always. But that silly situation reminds me Nhaler. He made a direct copy of the Grant and after that he said that the button is usa property now because he holds a patent for it
