What a lovely day with no rain. Today it will be marinated grilled chicken breast on top of spring salad with a little white balsamic vinaigrette. Toss in a few cukes and various colored peppers. A couple of thins slices of panini bread, white green tea w/mint and some sorbet for desert. Now that's a warm spring day delight :cool:

No cooking for me again tonight....DH is making pizza :) I just have to clean up the mess :facepalm:

Weird day today food-wise. Tonight is fresh strawberries (not from here yet, obviously!) with whipped cream (with a little added vanilla and sugar) on store-bought pound cake.
I could sure eat some of that right now !

We did a really fun and not so healthy fondue today. Oil fondue, steak, chicken, mushrooms, I'm stuffed but I loved it.
What is oil fondue ?

Pork ribs with saurkraut, baked potatoes, and peas and carrots. Now I am way to full

We had a big "carb fest" spaghetti lunch at my SIL's house today, so probably a turkey sammich.
I shoulda had the turkey .......
I had sliced tomatos with provelone cheese and basil. Mike and my grandsons and a friend of thiers made Hamburger with macaroni, cheese and tomato sauce..kind of a goulash. Boy food!

I love the tomatos and cheese and basil !

Friday night was gumbo with shrimp, chicken and andoulie sausage. Tonight was the leftover gumbo with added blue crabs that were pulled from crab traps in the gulf an hour before being added to the leftover gumbo. garlic bread and rice too. (wasn't me doing the cooking- but i helped clean up).

Sounds delicious......Makes me miss my uncles gumbo.
