a newbie carto question

I have done lots of reading and such but am still a bit confused or maybe just frustrated. I have an ego 1300 battery, dct with 1.5 dual coil carto and I am getting a nasty burnt tasting hit every so often. This was what was recommended when we ordered our battery.

I saw mention of some using single rather than dual coils and having better luck. Could someone please advise if I should get single or dual coil and what ohm would prevent these nasty burnt hits?

Those tanks are too much trouble for me. I use a single coil regular sized Boge 2.0 cartomizer in my Kgo 1100 mah 3.7 volt battery. I fill up the cartomizer the night before so it soaks really well while I'm sleeping & I have a very nice vape first thing in the morning. Works for me.

Thank you for your answer. I think next go round I am going to give 2.0 single coils replacements carts a try to see if it helps matters any.

The problem with dual coil is it drains your battery quickly. They provide more vapor, but it's not as warm as a single coil in the same resistance.

Try a vivi nova tank or mini vivi nova. Unless you like the look of cartos, theres no reason to use them anymore. They just cant compete with new tank systems that have came out.
