Well, thank you all for all of your reply's and support . It's appreciated. Last night I think I got a little out of pocket. I apologize . I had a nice talk with my beautiful wife and she agreed, I may be smoke free, but I can still be a little agitated, I suppose it is a journey. So here we go ->

You are talking to a huge bunch of ex-smokers who understand exactly what it is like, and how hard it is to quit ;)

Your body is still adjusting to not smoking. You may want to drink a little more liquids to help flush all of those nasty toxins from smoking out of your body quickly. It also helps vaping go smoother as pg/vg can be a bit drying to our systems.

+1 on rebuildables if you love tweaking.

And it's almost guaranteed that within 12 months that you will start to develop shinyitis, a compulsion to buy nice sometimes expensive precious vaping shinies that you must have in your collection.

So a good idea is to create a vaping fund at one side, as you probably will move onto a removable battery mod and will then need an external charger and batteries.

But you will be surprised by how hard and quickly the vaping bug hits, and how quickly vaping gear multiplies.

I wish, when I first quit smoking, I’d started putting all my cigarette money in a jar to use for vape stuff. Even with all my vape purchases, I’d still have so many jars full of money it would look like Granny’s root cellar after canning season.

I just reverted my cigarette money that was usually paid for in cash back then, to buying vape stuff on a credit card. It's amazing what you can buy when you aren't restricted to what the local convenience store sells!

Vape gear is easily justified. I spent my money on 2 PAD at the convenience store on cigs. Now, that's something like $10 a day I'm not spending. At $5 a pack I could break even spending $3650 a year on vape gear. I spend less than 10% of what I'm saving annually on vape gear. Heck, what we spent on 2PAD is a nice car payment.

At $12 a pack where I am, my pack and a half a day smoking would cover one fancy mod a week. But for some reason, my bank account doesn't reflect the savings.

Since Georgia is a tobacco grower state, cigarette taxes are lower. AVG cost of a pack here is $4.96.

The flood of helpfulness can be overwhelming. I get why you got a bit rattled. I know I did when I first got here.

We all went through the quitting smoking jitters. The best advice is to use the highest nic juice you can to start with and then taper down over time. 18mg to 24mg is a common start point if you are vaping mouth to lung and still wanting a smoke. 12mg may be enough if you are a cloud blower. To get off the cigs and stay off you should be able to detect a slight buzz from a few hits. Over a few months you will be able to taper down to a comfortable nic level for maintenance. One day you will decide that you don't need smokes anymore and you will finish the pack you have and not buy another. At least that was my path. Once I quit I found out that I could have quit much earlier. Once you switch to an alternate nic source with vaping, the rest is easy.

Vaping is the way to get off the cigs. It works to satisfy the cravings and gives you a choice of nic strengths to tailor the vape to exactly what you want.

    And next up.............squonking. :D
I went from 0 to squonk in the blink on an eye. My first mod was a topside. Ruined me from all other mods. I'm like, where is the bottle? And, why do I need a third bottle to fill it?

Yep. Been about 3 months for me and Im already about to go down that path... which means not only a new mod, but specialized rdas with a hollowed 510 I can squonk some juice through. Sounds fun!

Now if youll excuse me I need to make space on my vaping shelf...
