A nice small single coil RTA? (MTL)

I am vaping a Merlin as I type this. I normally run the air wide open for DL hits but just tried turning it down almost fully closed and it does give a decent MTL hit. I don't have the best build in it for MTL @ 0.4ohm/40w but I bet it would give a good MTL vape with a higher ohm and lower wattage build.

Edit: Forgot I was using a Merlin, not Serpent.

oops, my bad. edited original. I am vaping a Merlin not a Serpent. S shaped logo threw me off. I really should break out one of my Serpent Minis.

I have a Merlin as well. Hands down my favorite tank. I have the air restrictor tube in place with a 1 ohm build and I'm vaping it right now. Terrific tank. Only issue for the OP with it is the size. It is bigger than say a Serpent mini, about 23 mm, but I can fit it on my Pico for a sense of scale, so if small is not an absolute requirement, then yes, the Merlin would be my number one recommendation as well.

Oh, I forgot about the restrictor. That will definitely make it better for MTL. I am loving mine too, just wishing I had put in a lower ohm coil when I built it so i could take it higher wattage. Wick is tasting a tad burnt on long draws, from testing the limits of how many watts I could push through this coil, so I will probably re wire it tomorrow with these pre-coiled alien wires to get me under 0.3 and wick it with rayon.
