I have noticed a "funny" (odd) issue that I have only seen an occasional post or two about. The only chocolate I tried tasted "nasty" to me, I'd try it again to say something more exact but ...well, no thanks...anyway I would say it had a chemical-ish flavor reminiscent of the early "low calorie chocolate candies" maybe 20 or more years ago on the market for people on diets. Those were pretty nasty too. Several of the flavors I've gotten have a distinct "chemical flavor" to me.

Other juice flavors I have found "true" (to what it's supposed to be, for example a free "green tea" from MBV but I don't like REAL green tea, lol.

Other flavors I have found to have no flavor, too mild or tastes like "flavorless" or some such. My recent purchase of a bottle of 50/50 24nic (my current level) from MBV shows me, however NOW what the difference is between unflavored and flavorless.

Other flavors taste "good" to me, or "smooth" or "sweet" or "easy to vape" but don't taste like what they are described by the mfg as. This is FINE with me--I actually don't care if say a "berry crumble" doesn't taste like "berry crumble" (to me) as long as it tastes GOOD! (lol)

Background on my juices: I am only vaping now about 2 months (see banner in sig, I forget), but I spend a lot of time reading in ECF. I have easily ordered samples and small bottles and purchased from my B&M (I find them quite trusty!) probably over 50 different flavors. I tried to base my decisions on flavors I like in food and reviews of vendors here (also price!).

OK I hope I was not too wordy. Here are my questions, and it might help me understand my palate which seems like a limited one but it's what I've got :)

Does a juice with "no flavor" out of the mail mean it needs aging?
Does a juice with a "perfume" flavor out of the mail need steeping? (a lot of mine how have been steeping 2 months and I am about to go back through and try again)
What about the "chemical flavor", will that lessen with age?

If I like, say, "strawberry this or that" from Vendor A, might I like Vendor B's same flavor better or just as much? Also if I like Strawberry Shortcake from MBV as an ADV but find Moo Juice (strawberries and cream) too mild, do I aim my juice buying efforts at fruit flavor and "cake, yellow" instead of juice and "creamy" flavor?

I have lots more questions like What's up with the perfumy or chemical-ish flavors and why do I get them from some vendors, not others? But I think I've asked enuf of you guru's for now. Thanks for any insight.

Maybe the flavor will enhance with aging. With MBV, maybe an extra shot is needed.
Steeping will help get rid of the chemical flavor. Do you take the caps off for the first 24 hours, then again for an hour or two a few days later?
Bakery Flavor are one of my faves. I like Blue Moo and Pineapple Upside Down from MBV. I look for waffles where ever I go.
