I think it is a great and fair idea. So far Mooch was depended on Vendors who sent him batteries. If the community wishes to have sustainability on Tests, means that mooch will be able to test batteries from the same brand over the time, he needs money for that.
I don´t think Mooch is aiming to buy with your money his first Tesla, or a flat at Trump-Tower.

It’s done by every one of the thousands and thousands of people on Patreon every day.
It’s what Patreon is all about, supporting the people you want to see more content created by. Check out Patreon. See all the artists, musicians, YouTubers, etc., all offering the content they create to those who support them.

I’m not asking them to give me their money. I’m asking them to contribute to my testing, allowing me to quit my day job and test full time. I am working my .... off for that.

They get advance battery and testing news and a huge say in what testing I will do. Each person can decide if that is worth $2 a month (or more) or not.

I will try that link, soon. I value what Mooch is doing for the vaping community and battery safety.

And, to whomever has "never seen such a thing," well, have you never heard of crowdsourcing? It's a great way to get something accomplished if you have the following to support it. Mooch does, because he really has dedicated himself-- for a long time for FREE-- to battery safety tests.

I'd also add, just because you've never seen such a thing, that doesn't mean it doesn't EXIST. I have never been to Alaska, but I am firmly convinced it is THERE, (LOL mainly thanks to Sarah Palin) and if you disagree with something, just don't support it, please don't tell others what to do.

Although, it was of benefit I guess in my case-- it made me more determined to donate, LOL. So thanks, I guess?
