Hi all!

After some positive press ive decided to give ecigs a try, two weeks in and loving it!

I brought a strater kit from skycig.co.uk and have been going through around a cart a day, this is proving to be quite pricey so now im thinking of upgrading to the volcano inferno, does anyone know how cheaper it will be to run the volcano tank setup over pre filled cartomizers? ill be buying the pre mixed stuff for now, when i have some time i will look into diy!

thanks so much!

Steve,

I’m not familiar with the ecig you’re using, but in general, there’s quite a cost savings between pre-filled cartos and buying e-juice and filling your own (be it a cartomizer, tank, clearomizer, whatever). Typically, the cig lookalike cartos hold roughly 1ml of juice. The cost of a ml of juice will be roughly about 30 to 50 cents (prices will vary based on the vendor, type of juice, shipping cosr, and size of the bottle). A DIY mix will be less expensive, but even pre-mixed juice will offer a significant cost savings over pre-filled cartos. Plus, there’s so many more flavors to choose!

Granted, you also have to factor in the cost of the equipment (battery, empty cartomizer or tank, etc.) but even when that cost is amortized over the lifespan of the item, the cost is far more in your favor than if you purchased pre-filled.

(I know you’re in England, so I’ll leave it to you to do the dollars to pounds conversion)

Hi Steve Welcome to ECF,:)
I presume you're asking about this set-up?
If you buy Blank Cartomisers and a couple more Cartomiser Tanks your initial outlay would be a bit steep but in the long run it work out a lot cheaper than buying prefilled carto's and Much cheaper than buying smokes.

You can shop around for e-liquid Liberty-Flights.co.uk/ VapeEscape.co.uk/ PixJuice.co.uk/ (when they re-open), CelticVapours.com/ uk-eliquid.co.uk are but a few of the many popular UK vendors.

Pop over the UK forum here on ECF for more info and also Chrissies Forum AAEC for up to date Discount Codes and a more thorough list of UK Vendors.;)

For carto tanks and blanks look at Vapingthings.com/ VapourHut.com/ VapeGear.co.uk/ as well as the above mentioned ones.:)

Hi Steve and welcome to ECF. Congrats and glad it's working for you.
Not only far cheaper to fill your own cartos but also far more choices in juice. As for the Inferno it's a rebranded eGo.

I use Ego 650mah batteries with EC4 clearomizers. Works like a charm and so economical to run, even on commercial juice (costs me around £20/month compared with £150/month for cig-alikes)

I get all my stuff from Vapouriz here in UK - good quality and rapid delivery, can recommend their EC4 'Tank' kit (£29.99). You will need a wall-charger (£4.99) and second battery (£10.99). Their juice is good too.
