No, sorry. It can't be done. There's no way to create a flavor with the taste of burning tobacco leaves and smoke in an e-cigarette. Word of advice, if you start vaping with a personal quest to find one you'll be wasting your money.

Fact is, if you concentrate on finding another flavor out of hundreds to choose from, you can finally quit smoking cigarettes and then realize just how gawd awful they really taste once your taste buds heal.

there are several good tobacco flavors out there like 555 and rye4 but keep in mind that most tobacco flavors for ecigs taste like a un-lit cigaret smells, if you looking for a tobacco flavor that taste like a burning cigaret as far as i know you are out of luck.

i tried for the same thing for awhile when i first switched to vaping but then i realized cigarets tasted like hell anyways and now that i was vaping i could have any flavor i wanted, needless to say i stopped looking for juice that had a "real" smoke flavor after a week or two after quitting when i walked past a smoker and the smell turned my stomach, if you just switched to ecigs from smoking you might want to try a few tobacco blends at first but like the rest of us you will inevitably find that you are going to enjoy flavors you would have never thought you would have enjoyed vaping like bubblegum and chocolate.

I agree. For me at least, I didn't like the first tobacco flavors I tried. I found that I enjoyed coffee and sweeter flavors. After a while I went back to some tobacco flavors and enjoyed them, but after smoking for many years, when I first vaped, since the flavor was different, they weren't enjoyable.

I would advice trying non-tobaccos for a while first.

Of course this may not be the case for you, but something to think about.

Welcome Whirling !
We can all attest that there is no 'bacco' flavor that is going to match your previous experience with burning tobacco...we have all gone down that road, and the vendors are still selling 'bacco' flavors to people who are trying to replicate a burning cig/pipe/cigar.

There are so many good flavors and tastes, and you may want to try RY4 or Smooth Tobacco or 555- but I think you will find out, in time- as we have, that you will enjoy other flavors better.

Note: There is a thread going on New Members- "Switch to Vaping- Cold Turkey, or Transistion ?"
A member has noted (I believe- rightly so) that he has noted greater success from vapers who took up other flavors- rather than 'bacco' flavors. Maybe not scientific- but there seems to be a higher correlation.

Wishing you the Best !

It's true. Though I do like many "tobacco" e-liquid flavors, what jazon1 said is correct. The best you can hope for is something that tastes the way un-lit fresh tobacco smells. Try not to focus on it too much, try some flavors mixed with tobacco (caramel, vanilla, ect...) until you find something you really like and trust me you won't miss it anymore.

One question we have is if someone can recommend a flavor that has a geniune tobacco taste to it?

I'm working through the Goodejuice line of naturally extracted tobaccos, I find them to be authentic and enjoyable, but you won't get the lingering aftertaste you get with real tobacco. That's a good thing, it frees up your taste buds allowing you to switch between flavors and discern the subtle differences.

+1 on what everyone is saying. Can't reproduce the flavor of burning material. once i got past that, I paid attention to tobacco like qualities and throat hit. I have had more success and have stoppped cigs. I like the harshness of halo Torque 56 (reminds me of analogs). 12mg nic gives me a great throat hit. I also like vermillion vapor tobaccos. Their vmax is very good (tobacco with sweetness). They also have a poker blend (more straight tobacco without sweetners) that i like. Hope you find your fav.

Recently upgraded to mods so I've been trying many new juices. Picked up some 70/30 Dekang the other day and am pretty impressed. The tobacco flavors from many of the custom mixers out there all seem to have"nutty" undertones even with steeping. Good but not like analog tobacco taste. Been workind on Desert Ship and USA Mix. Desert is a nice turkish like Camel and USA is stronger like rich pipe tobacco. Have not tried the RY4, Tobacco, SEC (kent), or 555 yet but will keep you posted. It's cheap so I recommend trying it and draw your own conclusions. GL

Here's a thread where a member did a survey of favorite tobacco flavors and the results.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...updated-606-opinions-167-tobacco-flavors.html

If you have problems locating the supplier, post and someone can help you find the link.

Note that this says favorite which may not translate into 'closest' to tobacco. For example, the first one on the list doesn't really taste like tobacco to me (although it does taste good but I don't vape tobacco). But it's what people that vape tobacco liquids seem to enjoy.

*It's also from Nov 2011 and there are even more new suppliers on the scene.

Here's a thread about natural tobaccos

Hi Whirlingdervish,

If you are looking for a juice that tastes exactly like a burning cigarette (or tobacco product of your choice) I have some bad news. Those don't exist. However, I would say that many of the better tobacco flavors of ejuice are actually better than tobacco smoke. I personally favor a "Cowboy" flavor that smells very close to a freshly opened pack of Marlboro Reds. However, the taste has notes of caramel, vanilla, honey, and slight incensey smoky flavor I can't really put my finger on. I've also seen reviews for other juices that are said to be quite good.

That said, there are all manner of flavors available in ejuice that no cigarette (or other combustible tobacco product) can hope to have. Such as Blueberry Strudel, Key Lime Pie, and so on.

Furthermore, given time you'll find that if you do smoke a cigarette (or other tobacco product) that it will be extremely unpleasant. Or at least that has what has happened to me.
