So, there's this thread in the negative supplier review forum called "GotVapes Blows". I'd never ordered from GotVapes so, I clicked on the post to see if this may be a vendor that I should avoid.
It seemed that the poster had a bad experience with one of the cartomizers offered by GotVapes; it wasn't what he expected. Now, just because you don't like a product a supplier offers doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the supplier. This got me curious, I wondered what products GotVapes offers. So naturally, I went poking around their website.
I was impressed with the variety of products they carry and found some that I wanted to try out. So, after about an hour and a full cart I checked out. I received discounted upgraded shipping for my $$$ order and got 5% off by signing up for the newsletter. So, in a weird way, a negative supplier review got you a new customer.
I'll be stalking my mailman until I get my order. I even recommended GotVapes to a co-worker based on the product selection!

The "disgruntled" customer didn't handle it how it should have been handled in the first place IMO. And that's the problem with handling or the lack of in this case.

If I have a problem with my order at Taco Bell I don't go stand in the street and yell about it.......i go to the counter and talk to the employee to resolve the problem.

I don't understand and never will understand why everyone can't be adults.

I don't feel that GV acted nasty... in fact it was the customer in this instance that was out of line and they threw a tantrum because they didn't get their way. It's people that think it's ok to act that way simply because they are the customer that have helped screw up this country.

Hi Balter, the thread that the OP referenced was over the top. He had issues with two products but we never received a ticket about either. Instead he posts a malicious negative thread about us. Those threads are damaging to us. We do care when someone headlines us in the negative section. But we can deal with it and learn from it if it is justified and it is placed in good faith.

That thread was not. It was littered with an abusive and disparaging tone throughout, this individual wasn't interested in a resolution or he would have sent us a ticket. Now let's look at each item he specifically complained about:

  1. The Stallions: If you read his post he likes to vape at very high wattages. You can't do that with every carto you vape with, no matter what he claims. These have 2.0 coils in them and he is vaping from 8.5 to 10 watts? Rule number one is you start low then find your spot as you work up. If the Stallions were issue-ridden they would have been removed from the site as we have done with other product. Nevertheless, again, this individual did not even submit a ticket on the item.
  2. The SLB eGo-v: He complained rather vaguely about how the mini-usb connects to charge. I never did quite understand what he meant. But he went on to state that everything GotVapes sells is a POS just like said SLB eGo-v, an item which is sold by many many vendors and at less than 30.00 for a variable eGo pass through, its quite a bargain and well received. And again, if we had high percentages of return on this item, we would have pulled it, contacted the manufacturer, gotten a credit and went back to the drawing board. I can't emphasize enough that this has been well received and sold by many other vendors. Yet GotVapes is singled out for selling Chinese made POS? And again, no ticket. It works for him, he was just bothered how the usb connected to the charging port.

His remarks were out of line without a doubt and reeked of personal vendetta of some sort, it was all very strange. Disgruntled? I guess he was but was this his fault, something that we erred or was this just his attitude, expectations, prejudices against us? Let's be fair. We are not here to be abused and put up with that. Again this individual did NOT even submit a ticket on any of this.

We need to be realistic. Not all human beings are perfect lil angels.

The negative post that I referenced appeared to have more to do with user error than supplier mistake. This got me interested in seeing what the supplier had to offer. I went to their website and bought a few things. When I receive those things, I'll make my own decision.

Teebz, that is all we ask! If you have a problem, come to igotvapes.com submit a ticket and work out a resolution. We generally take care of most people that are actually wanting to fix things. As Customer Service manager I have about a 90% success rate, would love to have a 100% but there are just some people that you cannot please no matter what you try. Enjoy your order and I hope everything works the way you want it too!

How true that is Woody.
You do a GREAT job!

I had an issue with a Spinner about a couple of weeks ago, and within an hour of opening a ticket I got a responce from you on how to handle the claim. This issue was resovled to my complete satisfaction in a friendly and professional manor.
