How Much Nicotine is in tobacco Products:
The nicotine content in tobacco products varies widely. A manufactured cigarette contains approximately 10 milligrams of nicotine, while a typical cigar has 100 to 200 milligrams of nicotine. Some premium cigars have as much as 400 milligrams of nicotine in them. People who use smokeless tobacco (chew), absorb three to four times the amount of nicotine as do their smoking counterparts, on average.
Nicotine is Extremely Poisonous:
One drop of pure nicotine is enough to kill a person. Smokers receive much smaller doses than that in tobacco products, however. For instance, a cigarette contains approximately 10 milligrams of nicotine, but only one or two milligrams is inhaled directly by the smoker

my question is how much of the nicotine do you roughly get when inhaling on an electronic cigerette?

ok so i baught me 30 ml liquid in 18 mg and med strength and i usually smoke 2 cigs on break will this work or will it make me sic?

No one can say if it will make you sick.
Everyone's body is different, and reacts to chemicals differently.
What is good for one person, may be too much for another.
And vice versa.

But, considering averages in this forum, 18MG should not make you sick.

The basic rule of thumb is...
"Listen to your body"

Your body will tell you when you've had enough.
And it WILL let you know before you've had "too much", enough to actually hurt you.

If you start getting a headache, or nausea then it's time to stop.

Hope that helps.

I wouldn't be able to vape that strength fast enough to get any satisfaction.

It depends so much on your vaping technique and your own body that the best you could hope for is someone taking a wild guess.

Most folks get a light-headed/dizzy feeling before getting a headache which is before the tummy rumblings that signal too much nicotine in your system. Some get hiccups.

Nicotine is easily flushed from your system with water. (Also assuming you stop taking more in)

So, vape and find out. The worst that usually happens is a quickly passing headache. If that risk it too great for you, smoke the cigs. Your choice as nobody knows more about your body than you.

I don't think you can make a puff for puff comparison from Analogs to Ecigs.
Because they are 2 completely different things.

When you were smoking, before you ever heard of Ecigs, Did you really care about how much nicotine you were getting in each puff??
Same applies here.
It's really about how you feel.
Is the Vapor giving you satisfaction? That's all that matters.

I don't worry about how much nicotine I'm actually getting from it.
I do know that I am getting the nicotine my body craves, because I can feel the difference between vaping a 12MG liquid and a 24MG liquid.

Really near the mexican border.
I have omg, 8m, 12mg, 16mg 24mg, 36mg and 48mg e juices. Sometimes I can handle the higher nicotine and most of the time I cant, meaning my body gives me, the hiccups when I get too much nic in my system. You probably won't get sick, you probably just won't feel really well. Try vaping at home first like on your day off to make sure you don't get sick at work.
I hope that you can just vape and find your nicotine level right off, but most people have to play around with the nic level until they find what they need.
I found that I needed a higher mg when I first started because I think I don't inhale as much as I did when I 'smoked analogs. It's all about personal taste/style/etc... So vape on newbie and let us know how it's going.
