Good evening. I spent most of my day at work setting up my new computer. Everything turned out ok except my scanner won't work since there are no windows 7 drivers for it. So I got the credit card from the boss and ordered a new one.
Cool,Hitt. Glad ya had a pretty good day. We're back in the deep freeze here. It's bitter cold.
Us too. I honestly hate changing work computers. I have a lot of stuff on there and several programs I have to reload with software licenses. It's a real pain in the .... so I put it off as long as possible . My new computer was sitting in the box for over a month.
I've never had any computer training but learned thru the school of hard knocks the last twenty years. It helps to know people that you can learn from along the way.
Over time I've become the unofficial IT guy at work simply because no one there knows much about computers and I usually am pretty good at making things work.
The storm entirely missed us. Don't even have a dusting this morning.We are in the deep freeze thou,it is 8 below this morning. I would rather have snow.

Respectively, we are still very uncomfortably cold here in Florida with 36o and will be freezing tonight.
I know that's a warm spell for you folks!
We still have a space heater in our garage that we brought down with us; we're using it today!
