    Hi fudgey.

Whiskey you are right about that. Both of the kids had their appointments this week too. I could get my teeth cleaned a couple times for what the pediatric dentist charges. My wife and I have been talking and I think we're going to start taking the kids to our dentist. I think they're old enough now that they don't need to go to a pediatric.

afternoon all, on the dental "plans"(=not insurance, do not think they are allowed to call it insurance) its criminal what they try to do look your plan over real good , a lot of dental places here do double charges on a lots of things here and I have caught them adding $185 twice instead of once and when I called the plan up directly still had an issue.Went to the billing person in the office and she says" but we have always done it that way for the last 4 years".

I don't have real dental insurance. It's just a dental discount plan thru aetna. It has saved me alot of money the past few years though compared to if I had to pay regular rates. I get the discounted rates that the insurance company would get. I work for a small company and it's tough to get good health and dental for such a small group. The health side did improve this year. They do reimburse for cleanings though.

hey hit , I believe your in the same boat as around 85% + of the country, the fed employees still have dental insurance not too many other do.They just started a new 600 dollar a year wellness survey here that states if you have any nic in you you pay 600 more per year and if your blood work comes back with any issue you must take all meds your doc deems needed even if you do not.that uhc and they are the second of first biggest insurance comp so its coming to everyone. On a good note my doc says I will not need any pill for decades.
