I think it would take a while for vaping to be seen on an everyday basis. Smokers are a small portion of the population, and vapers are a tiny portion of that.

I've yet to see another vaper. But then again my town only has a pop. of ~32,600 and the whole parish only has a pop. of ~75,000. But boy, there's a shipload of analog smokers.

I have never seen anyone! I've heard stories of people vaping in our cafe at my store, and my coworker was sitting next to a guy at a movie who was vaping, but I never see anyone. People I know, or friends and family of people I know have tried crappy products, but I've never actually just seen a stranger out in public vaping. Maybe that's why I'm less likely to be so open about it? I don't just go around doing it openly unless I'm around people I know.
I have been at this for about 18 months. I have not seen anyone else vaping except for the guy who got me started. When I see a group of smokers, I find I feel sorry for them.
Me too. Just discovered another vaper in my city, over in the Australian forum, that makes 2 that I've come across there, plus another 2 in the north of our state. There have to be more than this, but I'm past the pubbing & clubbing age, so don't see any others around.

I maybe in your area in a couple of months Jeffree. A friend of mine just bought a winery off 46 and Vineyard in Templeton. I already have a trip planned for San Jose the first week of May, so maybe we can hook up.
I saw a couple people vaping at the Electric Factory last time I went to a show...unfortunately I was more concerned about getting downstairs to get in the mosh pit at that point and didn't run back into them. I did get stopped by security when he saw the vape (I was stealthing but not well...) and told him what it was and he told me to vape openly so they could tell it was not a cigarette. 
I think that our bond comes from wanting to quit smoking and we support each other in that cause....there isn't the stigma or judgement here at ECF that I felt through quitnet and places like that....ECF is PRICELESS...

I think they do. And for anyone wasting time on other, lesser sports, here's a talking point to impress your friends: the Detroit Red Wings are going for their 21st consecutive home win tonight, which would set the all-time NHL record for consecutive home wins. The team hasn't lost a game in Detroit since Nov. 3. Amazing.
Edit: didn't mean to ignore you there, Maureen. Snow just likes to push my buttons. I agree about ECF and especially the V4L forum.

I am soooooo excited !!! Today I 'met' another vaper from our state over on the V4L forum!!! He's from the North of our state, around 2.5 hours drive from here (if you abide by speed limits
) so not close. That makes 6 vapers at least, in our population of around 500,000. To find another V4Ler makes me ridiculously happy! If I ever meet any of them I'll probably hug them & scare the heck out of them 
Jeffree - I am from a small town so the only vapers I know are those in my family that I've converted (and I'm proud to add my sister in law to the list recently) On Wed nights I bowl in a womens league...our local bowling alley doesn't allow me to vape inside so I go out between games with the girls..they all want to know what flavor I have..enjoy any new toys I get and I've actually got a few interested..so maybe some day. I am old and ancient compared to most of this young ladies...so if I could get any of them to convert I'd be so happy. Going on vacation later this week to Aruba...so I'll let you know what I see down there.
I regularly vape at Disneyland... but because of evil glares from people who assume I'm smoking (nevermind that I have nothing burning), I tend to stealth-vape there. But as I'm an annual passholder, if any of y'all meander to southern California and go to Disneyland, we can compare some flavors there!
That's okay.....I can't say I'd be happy if they break that record...being a FLYERS fan and all...
