I'm posting this thread as a thank you to those that helped me realize my dreams of an all wood, 18490 collection.

First, to Rob, for his incredible wood working skills and dedication to us and his product.

To blue snake, with whom I traded my 18650 blood wood with the interesting grain for this gorgeous jatoba. Go team Tim!

To Angel, Altered reality, with whom I traded my lovely black wrinkle/ copper vein for an 18650 jatoba, a beautifully grained mod that paved the way for...

My thank you to Jan, jc okie, who traded that jatoba with me for a Cocobolo a beautiful dark sultry coco.

And since, pics or it didn't happen,

Let me introduce scarlet, piper and sandy!

Blue raspberry? Mmmmmm, sounds yummy!

I remember when you first got your Woodvils, you were originally going towards the 18650's, then switched back to 18490's.

I am now down to four (reduced the collection by two this weekend) - two 18650's and two 18490's. That leaves room for the mechanical Woodvil run! LOL

Your collection is gorgeous!

Congrats on your beautiful family Master.

I have also found the joy of the 18490 woodvil. I have 2 now and have a hard time setting them down. I do still have 1 metal REO, a mini 2.0. Currently the 2.0 is sitting in my stand needing a rebuild (gasket in 510 leaks) not wanting to rebuild it until it can get the new kit. Honestly not even sure I want to bother with it. I may end up replacing it with a grand or turn it into pp money to put towards a wood mech when the time comes. Point is the 18490 woodvil's have stolen my heart.
