What is a Go-Go Nation store?

A shop run by a member of the GO-GO nation. BinaryMan has an official site up for Vapor Elite and BILLB OKC has sold some as well. CigEasy has had some QC issues with the Kanger plant that makes theirs and now, just like his Igo's, Nhalers GO-GO's went up 5 bucks and also come with only 2 cartos.

Of the 4 or 5 folks that have sold new kits, none have had only 2 cartos. I myself have gotten quotes from Kanger and they state 5 cartos. The manner in which the cartos were packaged could tell a lot. If they are vacuum sealed or with condoms, then it is very likely that Kanger has changed the game plan with volume dealers.

If they were just loose in the carto box, it raises a question but is not definitive. I only got one kit from Nhaler but my kit from there had 5 cartos in one vacuum sealed pack. It was also before the price increase so who knows. It will be interesting to see if Kanger is changing the game plan with the increasing popularity of the GO-GO. It will also be interesting to see if the one vendor is the only one to have received kits with only 2 cartos.

Well since I don't want to get banned, I'll be politically correct. I can't see an established vendor mess with their credibility and remove components of a kit for resale. It might be well to also note that the newest innovation, the Echo does indeed itself only come with 2 cartos so as it relates to the GO-GO, the Chinese may be recognizing the increasing popularity of the GO-GO in the USA and shipping kits with only 2 now.

Time will easily prove that as at least 2 vendors have incoming stock, one for sure is coming from Kanger directly (CigEasy) so we will have a better feel for it soon enough. With all the niceties said, one place several (including myself) have gotten "samples" from, Guangzhou Banktown Trading Co., Ltd., are still supplying units with 5 cartos. Link here: 2011 most popular disposable eletrconic cigarette GO-go kit products. Bear in mind this is a trading company and they get their stock from the Kanger factory so if the cut back is a recent change, their stock may not yet reflect it. It costs nothing to create an account with Alibaba and do a live chat with Ms. Helen Ren for those who want to get it direct instead of a forum post.

If you go to the Kanger site itself, their page for the GO-GO (both versions 2 and 3) do not list a quantity of cartos in a kit but again, it never has. Link here: Electronic Cigarette,kanger,E-Cigarette,E-Cigs

Everyone should do as their heart and head dictates but giving 100% of any doubt, it is simple math. If you can get a kit for 5-15 dollars less and get 5 cartos (9 more bucks saved), I would obviously buy where the cost is less and the quantities more.

Sorry for the wall of text but this has been bugging me ever since I got a quote for Igo's (copy available on request) and without me asking, the detail shows 4 cartos included.

Edit: For anyone linking to the sites listed, bear in mind the "cost per unit" is less than the shipping. For the best deal on a GO-GO you still can't beat BinaryMan's VapersElite or BILLB when he orders them. In fact, ordering one "sample" wound up costing a bit more with shipping than what Binary or Bill sell or have sold for.

I've not ordered any of the "LR" GO-carts but by the reports on this forum from some who have, the resistence is "all over the map". Basically, from one LR carto to the next ranged from 2.4 to almost 4!

The reports also list the standard rez as fluctuating within the same range. Would be nice if they get the bugs out to try a few true LR cartos on the GO-GO for sure! :)

This sounds like some serious quality control problems at the factory. This might have something to do with high demand and a rush to supply the demand.

Interesting. I checked with my source at Banktown because originally I was told they manufactured the products and were better quality. So I emailed them the link to this post for clarification and your right. They distribute Kanger made goods. It makes me wonder what's really going on in China. It could be that I am running into linguistics issues :p

Yeah the Banktown folks are easy to do business with but the language barrier can be a bear. I can't say anything as they speak a heck of a lot better English than I do Chinese!

I think they do manufacture some small items/accessories but not for the GO-GO. Kanger has pretty much got an exclusive on that for the time being.

Exactly, I often catch myself trying to chat in a way that they will understand. Like Me Want It. Or Me Need More GoGo. Then I catch myself and imagine they probably speak English better than I do :p

Question.... after I clean and re-assemble a go cart, can I just syringe in .5 mil to make sure it will work? Or, do I HAVE to fill it up.... my brain tells me that since they are bottom coils, all I have to have is juice in the bottom to test them right?

:)

If you are puting the .5 ml on the bottom, it sounds like it would work but as always, I will defer to Mohawkz before I gave an emphatic yes. Sounds like a good idea for everyone that has the time to do it.

I guess I have been lucky so far as all the rebuilds I have done for reuse as opposed to autopsy, have worked. If they hadn't though, I woul've lost 3ml of juice. Thanks for the input Mrs. D! :)

Never tried just .5ml by itself in a gocart. Should work though if filled from the bottom. What I've noticed as time goes on that the greatest problem with the rebuild method some are having is that the flavor, vapor and th are weak after a rebuild. The causes for this is usually for 1 of 2 reasons. First reason for weak hits is that the filler is not seated in the bottom of the carto. When this is the case, the filler can be saturated with juice and still not delivering it to the coil at the bottom. When re-inserting filler in the horizontal coil cartos it is important to insure that the filler is placed all the way to the bottom of the carto. It's really a delicate touch, as too much pressure is placed on the filler when reinserting, you crimp the filler material in the middle and the juice won't flow normally. So it's a fine balance. Not seating the filler in the carto will cause it to produce no flavor/vapor/th even though it is full of juice. Ramming the filler in too tight will crimp the filler material and restrict the natural capillary action of the filler.

I've since found out that re-inserting the filler when it is wet makes the job easier but often produces poorly operating cartos due to the filler being more compressed when wet. Reinserting when as dry as possible has resulted in the filler being more natural in shape and produces more satisfactory operating rebuilds. After all, I'm sure that when the filler is inserted at the manufacturing level it is inserted dry.

If we think about normal troubleshooting methodology, once you've removed the filler from one of these cartos, cleaned the shell and dry burned the coil to a nice hot, clean, cherry red, then the only thing preventing proper operation is the filler. As stated, the filler has only three causes for falure to operate properly. 1. It is still wet with water from cleaning. 2. It is not seated in the bottom of the carto. 3. It is smashed together in the carto too tight, causing a crimp that restricts the amount and flow of the juice to the coil. After dry burning the coil, getting the filler in properly is probably the "Art" of carto rebuilding. IMO

In the user's guide, I stated that after cleaning a gocart using hot tap water you should bake them in the oven for 1 hr at 300 degrees. I've done my first batch of cartos this way and they did work afterwards but I've since amended my process as follows. Now that I have more cartos in circulation, I generally air dry them for a couple of days. If I have to dry them quick I still use an oven but I bake at 200 degrees for 40 minutes. This seems to work as well or better than the hotter temperature.

Well, I was going to attempt it today. Bought a package of stir straws at the local grocery. Don't fit. Sigh, and I live in a dry county so no taverns either.... LOL...

Thanks for the replies, and as soon as I find something that will fit over the center tube, I will let you know if I am successful!! :)

Target had skinny enough straws for the Gen 2 Cartos in the fountain drink section by the food court. Also I believe I found the straws at 7-eleven are the right size also.. Then of course the bigger McDonalds straws..

Good luck!
