The wife and i both started at 12, we are both at 3 (sub ohm) The device makes the difference. If i knew now what i knew then id be vaping on exactly what i have now, i love it, i want for absolutely nothing. We are both using 200w/tc dual 18650 box mods and both using griffins she has the original im using the 25 and she expresses desire to have the griffin 25 instead. The mod and tank make a huge difference in how much of the nic in the juice you get too.

I started at 36 mg on an ego 650. Since moving to provari and a few years later, I'm down to 12 or 9mg comfortably. Probably something to do with the "hit" between one piece of equipment vs. another?

..and she's a Lady ;)
(you left that part out, but we still

I found the griffin in a wide cast net search. Literally bought about 20 of the "best" tanks after much trial and error stumbled on the griffin. BEST TANK EVER!! I love it, juice flow for top fill great juice wells great build deck great air flow. I would recommend it to anybody. i vape in the same wattage range which is all about battery life. Wife is using a KBox 200 and im using a Smok R200 those were purchased for weight+ height/size to fit my needs. Love the griffin as well!

Well looks like folks who vape MTL use more nic
And folks, like me, who subohm vape at higher wattages require less nic due a more efficient nicotine delivery.. currently 2.5mgs at 110-120w does the trick, least it does for me (male)

Sorry, but it is not "more efficient nicotine delivery", but greater volume of juice delivery. It's a waste of juice in other words. It does not matter that you use 2.5 mg (by the way, I use exactly the same concentration). But it does matter how much nicotine in juice you consume per day.

Whatever Alien, lol
I just know I get a way better nicotine hit vaping a .15 ohm coil at 120w DL with 2.5 mgs of nic than tootle puffing a 1.8 ohm coil at 13w with 24mgs of nic..waste of juice??
Fat chance, lol
Those fluffy white clouds do take a alot of juice
but I don't mind..I can afford ALOT of juice..
Seriously, I get my acquired nicotine addiction completely satisfied in 1-3 deep lung hits and able to set my mod down for awhile..could never get a satisfactory nic hit in my newbie days with a 1.8 ohm coil at 13w 6 yrs ago..later Alien ...dinner calls, :)

I would like to add my two cents - WHATEVER keeps One off of Tobacco is a GOOD THING ! ! ! :thumb:
I personally prefer a cooler vape. After 40 years of cigarettes, tobacco pipes and the occasional cigar, these old lungs have already been 'cooked' enough. Using various Reos Mods, equipped with RM2's and Chalice III's. I get all that I need. And it is a comfortable, cooler vape for me running single coils at about 1.4 ohms.
I also have several Reos Woodvils that are equipped with a Cyclone, an Atomic, a Veritas and several Derringer, all modified for Bottom Feed. I usually dual 2.0 coils (1.0 ohm total) for some of my 'softer' flavors. I have tried 0.5 and 0.6 ohm coils but didn't care for it.
All of which is done at 10 to 12 mg. of nicotine. But the main thing is - NO TOBACCO four four and a half years now. And that's what counts.

You got that right !

I smoked 2 packs of 'Reds' everyday for about 40 years. Stopped smoking 3 years ago and replaced the cigarettes with vaping.

I am a mouth to lung 'tootle puffer' and it takes me about 5 ml of homemade 15mg Nic juice per day to keep me off the cigarettes ... and this combo has worked very well. I have absolutely no craving at all for a cigarette !

Between the genders I can't see there'd be much difference in how we react to and process nic. I think Rule62 pegged it as possibly a difference in how we vape. Men tend to have larger lungs and are therefore likely to expose themselves to more nic than women and as he pointed out men are more likely to be more aggressive chain vapers, I know I'm one.

Not a gender-based response...

Your son takes to vaping, your daughter doesn't. Could be he's ready to quit smoking, while she isn't. Could be a number of other things. I'd wager it's not gender or nicotine based at all.

Best way to answer your question is simply ask them both "Why this reaction?"

I think I am agreeing with you here.

In my way of thinking, it's not just how much Nic is in your juice, and it's not just how much juice you go through in a day .... What matters is the combination of both.

Case in point ... I am a mouth to lung "tootle puffer" that vapes on a high ohm coil at low watts. I burn through 5ml of 15mg Nic juice per day. That's a total of 75mg of Nic (5 x 15 = 75)

Another person may do big lung hits on a subohm coil at high watts. That person may burn through 15ml of only 5mg Nic juice per day. That's still a total of 75mg of Nic (15 x 5 = 75)

So, in the end, it all comes down to how much TOTAL Nic you are using in a day.
