A Virgin's Adventures in Vaping

I've got to admit, I didn't know what I was getting into. I don't know any vapers. I never even heard of it until around a month ago. Then over the weekend I found ECF, placed an order yesterday at 5:30 and the next thing I know I'm standing in a freezing parking lot with Casey making a pick up. (Big Plus for local companies!)

So I head home, forgetting I was supposed to pick up supper at Subway and rerouted myself to Panera's instead, walked in the door and before I even had my coat off, Mrs. Gadget, my wife, had one of the two kits ripped from my hand and started opening it up. Okay, to be fair to her, she does have a gadget addiction. If she doesn't order a new gadget every month or two, she starts to get the shakes. Hopefully my new gadgets will satisfy her for a bit longer, even though she swears she won't use them.

I expected in the four batteries that came with the 2 PureSmokers Ace kits that I bought that all four would need charging before use. Much to my surprise, all four were fully charged. I could have been vaping on my way home instead of using that analog!

Mrs Gadget in the meantime has observed that there's only two pieces and thinks there's a missing third piece. I pointed out the KR808D-1 Ace is a two piece rather than a three piece rig like the JOYE510 I'll be getting next week. So she handed me the two pieces to screw together (she loves gadgets, but realizes her shortcoming at mechanical dexterity), and I have my very first experience with vaping.

I've been a 2 1/2 to 3 pack a day smoker for quite some time, beginning almost 40 years ago. I've got to say I was not prepared for the TH I got and immediately started coughing. I checked the cartomizer and saw I had a Kamel flavor, 11 mg. The taste was definitely tobacco. So we sat down for supper and a movie, and rather than picking up an analog after the meal, I vaped with my new Ace. The 11 mg, which I expected to be too light for me, was mildly satisfying. Maybe not for an entire day right now, but I wasn't crawling up the walls in withdrawal either.

After the movie, I checked the cartomizer that came with the other kit. This one was pumpkin pie. Okay, let's try that one out. Hmm, maybe it takes some getting used to. But no matter how hard I tried to enjoy it, pumpkin pie just didn't work for me.

Then pulling out the additional cartomizers I bought, these at 18mg strength which I still expected to be a little weak, I picked up a blister pack of Riskee Yuice. Coughing again after that first TH (note to self...), and pleasantly pleased with the taste. Okay, I really really like the taste. I know I ordered two other flavors, 5-5-5 and RY4, but they are both going to have to wait. Did I mention I like the Riskee Yuice?

Over all, I'm very pleased with the Ace, the juice, and the Company. I can tell with the PV, I'll be able to finally break the habit of the analogs.

okay I'm going to have to read this in a few minutes as I was about to get up and walk away and happened to click the "User CP" link one more time.

Since I have the Puresmoker sub-forum as one of my subscribed ones I just had to come and say that being this is all you see on that page.....

"A Virgin's Adventures in..."

that has to be the most eye-catching thread title I've seen to date :D

Welcome Ancienthighway!!! :)

You made a GREAT choice going with PureSmoker! They are really great people with GREAT products!!!

You and the Mrs. need to get a Prodigy V2 with some 24 or 36mg Riskee Yuice... the 60ml bottle I might add!! It is AWESOME!! I have been vaping it for over a year and my Mom and I both LOVE it!:thumbs:

I smoked a pack a day for over 30 years and I thank heaven that I found vaping and Puresmoker!!! :D:D

Hang in there and reach for the vape before the cig... the cravings will pass!!
