I just saw these pics over on another forum (the pit), and I think you should be aware of its existence. I'm sure whatever you have planned is on a totally different level than this thing though.

totally agree ,i will strat from scratch and it looks like impossible to me i want a ggts + ody short mod
very bad case isnt it ?

i only wish we could pre-order the ody instead of the iatty now that ithaka will be postponed.

yeah, yeah old customers want to buy parts for the iatty but new customers like me have nothing, its just more frustrating for new customers than old customers, they can enjoy their GGs while we drool on the background :D

This seems a very simple, without any features and bad made atomizer Rick. I dont make atomizers like this buddy

I can't understand your problems. Don't you vape before you get the ggts? Imeo make the best atomizer , the ithaka (in all points better than the ody) it looks great on the ggts, have a lot more features... And you like the Ody??? Is the time you must wait for the ithaka the problem? Thats GG - I must wait 1 year to get my first ggts... and now I'm looking forward to get my ufs (and then I hope the archilis - in the ufs :)). And before the preasale starts every GG fan must collect a many of itemns and sometimes wait a lot of time, to get a complete Ody...

This is about the worst reason ever to prefer one over the other... just sayin'.

My point, although it could have been explained better, was that I finally got off my as and bought an Ody and a Penny when I heard the UFS wouldn't be made again because I was so sick of buying horrible Chinese atomizers. I loved my UFS V1 and V2. But once I heard it was time to move on to building my own coils I had to let go of them. Sorry if this was unclear.

Very excited for Ithaka and new 510. On the hunt for a UFS again so I can put in GG 510 instead of crap from china.

Maybe you look on this Ody or Ithaka thing only based on presumption that Ithaka will be improvement, with better performances. Even if that is truth (I have trust in Imeo), there is one more thing - collecting GG's.

I still don't have any GG's, ordered my first ones on last presale (GGTS + UFS V2)... also said that I will 100% buy Ithaka... but the fact is that I would like to have Ody, even though I didn't try any GG product yet.

I was wondering if the Ithaka atomizer part will be compatible with the Ody body. Like when Ody 2 came out you could buy the atomizer part and drop it into the V1 to upgrade. Wouldn't that be cool? The best of both worlds.

It seems compatible, although I'm not sure how far Ithaka's center post will protrude from the Ody base. Perhaps Imeo will stop by later to confirm :)

I think the concern is that the Ithaka will have a ramp up time to get production started. I'm purely speculating, but I assume that, after making one of something from hand, it has to be translated to some autocad type of design to be produced en masse. This should already be done for the Ody.

Maybe I missed a post where someone said apples to apples they would prefer the Ody to the Ithaka... that seems senseless to me, because it's the same genre of piece, but with improvements found through use of the Ody. However, I'm pretty sure that weighing the options includes shelving the Achilles to produce the Ithaka. I would still love an Ithaka, but since the Ody ruined me on the flavor of even the nicer 510s, the Achilles would let me dust off a drawer full of UFSs (Ok, it's a small drawer... I only have 2, but still. ;) )

You are very correct, my uncle has a machine shop that produces parts for airlines, machine parts, rigs etc. He gets all the specs from the designer and inputs all the specs to the computer and it goes ahead and makes the number you choose, so like you said, all that should be able to do, depending on what type of machine they use for the GG parts is put in the codes and it does what it so well does.

i know that all products go thru improvements and changing needs as the market changes, but the Odysseus is such an amazing atomizer that it deserves more than a 3 month run. When it came out it was toted as the best of the best, and after only after such a short production life it deserves to be available to more out there. Just my opinion, as much as that is worth.

Ithaka and Ody have some compatible parts but not all of them. For example, the base has different threading to fit the basic feeding control, so the rebuildable part of Ody will fit but it has not so long center pin to reach the connector's of the mod.

Ody is the best of the best in all levels ana. But only if you compare it with the rest of the market. Its not the best of the best for me. For me, the best didnt come yet, its still somewhere hidden in my mind. But I will discover it soon!!

Still hidden? I thought you've already designed the Ithaca? :)

Could be alot of reasons someone would prefer ody over ithaca, size for one or perhaps the clear window as is my case. I would never have gg atty with a clear window on my ggts. Thats me though. Been there done that.

What I can't understand is if a new product, that obviously beats the previous one, is presented, why is there still remarks about keeping ody around? Just like ody replaced and destroyed the iatty, ithaka is the same for ody. Way I see it, it's better in every aspect, minus the drip tip mouthpiece.

For me actually the whole being able to use any driptip is a great plus in the Ithaka. Even now when i use my DID I wash my drip tips every single day out of a hygiene point of view. With the oddy for me this means taking it apart to be able to wash it. So when i saw the video for Ithaka I got very excited!

I currently happily vape the Ody. My wife is in love with the iAtty. And she has several. There tends to be a personal preference choice in how a device performs. And dspin also mentioned another factor that is known. If you dislike the clear window enough, and happen to love the Ody, then the Ody will be preferred by many.

There has been some demand to resurrect the iAtty. And therefore, it's back on preorder. (Wish this was the case a few months ago, but still).

Add to all that, the Ithaca has been mentioned and will not be ready for some time. The Ody specs are ready, and it seems that it's an easy re-release for another preorder on it. I don't mind clear window for some juices. In fact the juices I vape in a GG doesn't touch clear windows. So personally I prefer to have Ithaca released sooner, but, knowing someone very close to me that prefers the iAtty over the ody and the Penelope, I certainly understand why some would request a preorder for it.
My two cents

I prefer the GG tip, but I prefer the SS tips in general. I rarely vape on anything but. My wife prefers using her own tips. So between the different controls (basic feed, etc), and the ability to add different drip tips, AND a larger ceramic to work with, there is definite excitement for its release.

I just see WHY some may clamor for an Ody preorder. Especially with Ithaca so far out
