no worries Tark. If Ody and penny works already on this BF mod then the new atomizer will work too because of the extra air hole that I put on it. As I see it, with this extra hole that the GG atomizer will have we will avoid the gurgling that those mods produce because they use the air hole as a juice hole too.

Without getting too much ahead of myself...Have you thought of names for it yet? I would call it Dionysus (διόνυσος), because this atty sounds like a damn good time, or Hephaestus (Ἥφαιστος), because ..you know, you're the smith of the vaping gods In any case, this will get me to move to tanks, I haven't already because I pretty much hate cartos. The fact that it's a rebuildable in the same form factor as a 510 atty just makes me feel all fuzzy inside. If I sound too happy ..well that's because I am.

I am very happy too Dan and I am waiting for my sample to test it inside UFS. As a Greek friend said, I am imagining myself taking slow, long inhales with this GG atomizer inside UFS and have the best pleassure in the world!

I found in my house a map tank that Bruce send me 3 months ago and I put an atomizer inside but atomizer could go further than the appropriate inside the tank and I have to find the right position for it every time. So if all tanks work like this, maybe we can make a stop on GG atomizer's base so it will stop always in the right place when we push it inside a tank?

Also I found one more function that this small atomizer will have. It will not flood while you put it inside a tank because its liquid control will be closed every time we refill!! Great? I will answer to my question: Great!! axaxaxa

The Smoktech dual coil tank cartos have a stop ring -

The stop does make the carto bottom out in deeper 510 connections, but as you will provide an adjustable pin on the new atomizer this should not be a problem.

I expect people who aren't using tanks wouldn't want the stop ring, so then it is a question of whether to offer two versions.

A small base at 9,5mm instead of 9mm that the atomizer is, will still prevent the atomizer to go further inside the tank. This small wider diameter will not be noticed by anyone and it will still do its job. I dont know if you agree. You seem to know things about tanks.

Thank you but I'm just a novice. I think a small stop would be more than adequate.

I'm excited to have a chance to use this when it come out. Please keep thinking up better ways for us to vape!

Imeo my friend! I just found this thread and am very intrigued. My question though is I have sold off my 2 UFS this year because of this very issue of not wanting to pay $8-$11 for Chinese atty's and now all I have is the Penelope and GGTS and am really looking forward to Ithaka.

Should I change my game plan now and buy a new or used UFS or ODY to accept new thin 510 arty or is there hope for Penelope users with new thin atty?

Imeo - can you make a standard size, and an "XL", longer size?

Most tanks come in regular carto size (? mm) and a longer, XL Boge or DCT size.

Some cartomizers do this. It's definitely a pain if the o-rings are particularly snug... sometimes you push it too far
