While it's lovely to saunter into the store and be able to grab things, I treasure the memory of those Sale Nights I participated in...even the ones where I just wasn't fast enough, or panicked. I always heard the announcer of the old Wide World of Sports program intoning "the JOY of victory and the AGONY of defeat".

Oh, the adrenaline....
