AA Batteries with built-in USB?

Thought I'd pass this find on. Sorry if it's already been covered:

USB Rechargeable AA Battery +4 Adapters

Interesting item. It "appears" it can also function like a regular AA battery in addition to recharging. At the very least, it could be put in a null slot in a AA box mod as a backup recharger.

Man if they did that in Li-ion you'ld almost have a one piece mod.

Not hard I've found some protection boards the size of a AA battery. I'm sure you could fit a max 1555 circuit on a board that size and just attach the usb A male to it and shrink wrap it.
