About adapters and airholes...some potentially useful advice

Hey guys, I've been using 510 adapters for tanks on my rough stack.

If, like me, you've had to go out and pick up adapters such as these, you've found yourself with a draw from your carto/tank/atty that is entirely too airy.

I've tried a couple different things from leaving the air holes completely open to completely sealing them off. Leaving it completely open gives me a draw that's way too airy and sealing them off entirely makes it way too tight.

What I've found that is a great balance is to use the end of a toothpick, just a touch over 1/8" long.

I place the small end of the toothpick into the bottom end of the adapter and wedge it in a bit. It may take you some experimentation to get just the right length but it isn't hard. I've found this makes the draw ideal...at least for me. It lets just enough air past the toothpick to give a nice, tight draw without being too tight or too airy.

If you've used another method that works well, please share. Hopefully this method will help someone who's been trying to find a good solution to this problem.

So do you just wedge one side, or where it's in both vents?

Good idea. I been messing around with my ego-c. I get tired of the whistle.

Just one side is enough to tighten up the draw, I think.

The draw is a lot better when one side is plugged. I'm actually considering soldering one side.

come up with a idea the other day and it works on my bloog, cut one of the rubber ends with scissors
about 1/8 wide slipped it over the e cig and you can move it to cover the holes u want to get the drag
\u want . works very well and its removable as well.

the rubber ends im refering to is the rubber covers on both ends of the carto , cut the end with no tip
inside.
