Amazing how this thread morphed...
Don't worry, not the first one :D

I really don't consider aluminum "panzer" material.
Well that was my question, actually. Mind we're talking 7075 aircraft grade aluminum, not just any aluminium like you get in cheap disposable spoons and knifes.

<- not like that LOL

Imeo, good friend, is GGTSv2 aluminium threads stronger (or harder) than GGTS brass threads?

Ok, what did I find about brass and 7075 alu

Brass:
Guide to Buying Brass Online | Online Metals Guide to Selecting Metals for Your Project - nothning above B82 Rockwell scale (unless it's C770 Nickel Silver which looks like silver, and has B96)

Aluminum:
Guide to Buying Aluminum Online | Online Metals Guide to Selecting Metals for Your Project - 7075 has B87

So it's brass's B82 v 7075 alu B87. (at least from what you can buy on that website). Not sure what mods use C770 brass though. But you get the idea.

The other question is, which brass whit what index is commonly used in mod's threads? I have no idea.

For instance, new Prodigy V3 from Puresmoker is made of 304 stainless steel - Rockwell hardness index B70.

What I think is -- you should be really good with 7075 alu and it's B87 index for screwing and unscrewing your attys 50 times (if not 500 :D) per day.
