? about cartridge shape

I'm buying my first PV next Friday, and I've learned a lot reading this forum. It looks like the best choice to go with initially would be a DSE901. The 801's and the screwdriver have strong support, but they look a little big for public use, especially for a woman.

I have a couple of questions:

• Are the DSE901s basically alike except for differences in features? Is one of them truly better than others? Are there some that should be avoided?
• Why aren't there any black or colored 901s with round cartridges? All of those that look like cigarettes have round cartridges, but all of the others have tapered tips. I want a black (preferrably black matte) 901 with a round cartridge.
• Do the chargers, pass-throughs, and cartridges sold for one 901 work for all of them? I want a car charger, a passthrough and empty cores for ejuice, but the sites with the PVs I like the appearance of either don't offer some of these items or are sold out.

This is what I want in the ideal:

• A black matte 901 (gloss is better than white -- actually, I want a purple one, but no one makes them)
• A round cartridge
• Wall charger, car charger, passthrough
• Empty cores for ejuice
• A nice carrying case

Anyone have suggestions as to what would come closest to most of those criteria? The car charger and empty cores are VERY important. The rest of it is just preference.

I just purchased some cases from:

Spare parts - Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop

They are inexpensive but take a while to get. They have the round cartridges in large quantity and the car charger too. They also have atomizers for $6.00.

If you check Alt Smoke, Rob had a 901 in Blurple (Blue/Purple), but I think he is currently out of stock.

The DSE901 comes with a wall charger. The black comes with black (tapered) cartridge/mouthpiece. The white comes with the round. Cartridges are relatively cheap and come filled or blank.

Good luck finding a USB passthrough right now. It seems everyone is out of stock.

e-smokeytreats has a midnight blue 901. It has more carts than most and an extra atomizer. Looks like they have it in stock.

Consider buying empty Janty Dura carts. They will fit your 901 and hold more juice and they are round and black!

This is where the confusion comes.

There is a DSE901 original which has round carts.

There is a DSE901 which is a generic copy from a different factory and actually a RN4075 that has flat carts.
Lot of sellers just list it as a DSE901 !!.

The RN4075 is clocked to burn hotter giving more throat hit than the original DSE901 .

The atomiser bridge is also a different shape.

If you buy the round DSE901 carts for a RN4075 atomiser be prepared to fiddle.
Same goes if you buy the flat tip RN4075 carts and try to fit them in a DSE901 atomiser.

I have seen carring cases for the 901 everywhere, but I got mine at ruyandirect.com. They are only $3 so I got a few, just have to wait a little longer for the shipping. And even with the international shipping it ends up costing less than most of the sites in the US selling the exact same cases for around $15. I am also waiting on a purple 901. I did get a metallic blue and a powder pink that is as close as i have gotten to purple. Good luck and let me know if you find one.
