I could write a book. I think your first step is getting your device you want/need. You could ask your vape shop for unflavored nic juice just to dial things in and know that it isnt your coil/mod/setup causing the burned taste. Once you are dialed in for the most part (some flavors you will adjust power/heat, but not by much) then i would suggest diy. Dont get into overload, last thing you want is to be overwhelmed but there is a DIY section in the General E liquid forum where not only would it be more appropriate but you will also get more opinions from others who DIY than you would here in this thread.
Ok thanks... I have not perused this forum like I should have. Signed up nearly 4 years ago and am still a stranger, lol. Will definitely check the DIY section out over the weekend. Actually starting to feel like I'm going to get this figured out.

You got this, and when you are ready i will be more than happy to share my opinions in the DIY section.

Keep coming back here, especially when times are tough, we'll be here to help motivate you!

This is like my 4th time signing up on the forums. I keep forgetting email/pw i use to sign up. I was like you signed up but never really participated much. Now that i have been at it for 4+ years and acquired a wealth of knowledge i feel comfortable helping others kick analogs to the curb, and share my opinion on things i have discovered.

Nothing better than learning something new too!

i wouldn't suggest one that needs to be built by you currently then. there are a lot of factory made coils out there and just by getting into DiY juice you will save yourself money that way.

for a dual battery mod, i would highly recommend the smok alien 220... the TC works well in it, it can come as a kit, and who knows you might fall in love with the baby beast tank they come with lol!

Awesome, thanks! I agree about waiting on the building for a bit... especially while I'm still on edge from quitting smoking. I will definitely look at that mod. :)

For coil building, this is not only a time saver, but it will help you get consistent coils.

just beware... most vapers get this horrible incurable disease... it's called shinnyitis... we started off with 2 mods and 2 tanks, 1 for each of us... lmao it didn't last... oh wait... you've already caught it... oops!
LOL - I just know it's going to happen to me big-time. I think that's part of the reason that I just kinda stuck with these old batteries and the same kind of tanks for so long. I was resisting! Time to give in to The Shiny.

I did too until I received a really nice UD tool kit from a friend ;)
Yea if it was given to me i would likely use it, i have no issue making perfect coils after having done so for so long with just drill bits (i use the shaft that goes into the chuck not the actual cutting portion of the bit if you were wondering) For me i just dont need it so havent gone out of my way to buy a kit :D maybe one of these days

Thanks NU! You rock.:headbang::D This is so encouraging... and a little encouragement goes a long way when you're tweaking for cigarettes, lol. I thought it would be easier since I'm still getting the nicotine, but that is SO not true. I must have had the perfect-storm situation last time, because it hardly bothered me at all. I've learned my lesson... not going through this again!

Oh, i forgot one thing. I keep a bottle of juice around for just those sort of occassions which doubles my nic from the rest i normally make/vape just in case i really feel the urge. Seems to help :D

what bunny said can also be a factor, what worked years ago, has changed for you... which could be why you're tweaking a bit now, it's not sufficent for your current needs. so maybe a change is going to be good and help you better.
