I think it would have been pretty neat to have those words written in Greek text.

I said the same thing when I first saw the pic you posted vapn. I think it would've been pretty cool looking in greek (or even latin). But I love it none-the-less. Thank you Imeo.

I agree with this statement Mist and would like to add something vitally important. When I push the button of my GGTS, it works. It is not hit and miss like some of my other mods. I do not have to fiddle with it off and on just to vape. It works. Period. End of Story.

Now that I have my AVS, everything is perfect!

You hit the nail. One thing that we, GG lovers, tend to forget, is that we have a device free of troubles. Before the GG, I used very well known Mods. They used to work for few hours, then stand for weeks, if not months in a box, waiting for replacement parts.

Now I almost forgot that devices that stop working or that need efforts to work, even exist!

Now I forgot that getting a part changed can take weeks and even months, for some unfortunate vapers to get served.

Look at us...We on the other hand, mainly talk about shining and more shining....and some more shining. We live in bliss compared to others...

Imeo and the GG certainly made a big difference!

If I ever were to buy the new GGTS, I would want the greek font on it. I like the LOTR connotation personally, and want to buy one of those rings with the elvish dialect on it

I am not an overly sentimental type of person, and if they all have 'To my friend' etched on them I will not bother buying the new model. It's kind of cheesy IMO.
The thought is nice, but not my cup of tea i'm afraid.

Hi I posted this over in the newbie forum but now I can just post it here:

In any case, over the last week I have been looking at buying a GGTS. They are quite expensive but I believe that they are worth the expense because of the solid design and manufacture. I already own an SD MkII, 2 SD MkI's and a collection of other devices and passthroughs, so the GGTS would be (hopefully) my final purchase ever as it does basically everything and can be fully repaired and maintained by the user.

The only problem I have with it is the new engraving. I've read through this thread and I understand the reasoning behind the addition of the "TO MY FRIEND" engraving but it is something that is ensuring that I don't purchase this device. I can understand a limited batch of these being done, for the reasons outlined in this thread but I just don't want it on there.

Is there any chance that this will be removed in later editions of the GGTS? Or will it be forever a device I will not get because of a well intended and heart-felt gesture from the manufacturer that does not sit right with me?

I really, really want one of these.. just not with "TO MY FRIEND", or anything else other than what was on there before, on the side.

You could probably buff it out with a wheel or put a badge over it or something.
Or put an M between O and M to make it say TOMMY FRIEND j/k

i really like the engraving, it gives me a warm heart feeling that it was made by a friend for a friend. to be honest one of the main reasons i really like and trust imeo is because he refers to all of us as friends. "Friend" is a wonderful word and we should all live by it's meaning.......

Ok, I will tell you a story. I had a friend that we were all the day together. We play, eat, sleep together. We grown up and we still were friends. The best ones. I got married and nothing changed. But he got married too

His wife thought that I was stealing him from her so bad things started to happen. No reason to say more but friendship is the most beautiful thing in the world. Love is good but friendship is the best of all. Love pass, friendship stays. Women pass, the friend stays. Not always as you see from the above example but the most of the times friendship is broken because other people come between friends. Its a lifetime value, it cant get hurt from the prosaism , its immortal.

Some simple thoughts of mine. Maybe I am wrong of course but thats me Lando my good friend

I have 2 stories like this ggero. Both of them are exactly the same. I had 2 child friends. Kostas and George. Same thing happened. I dont blame wifes of course, I blame stupid wifes and stupid people.
