Hey all,

Still new to vaping. Just over a week, and I've read everything I can get my hands on. I'm about to buy a provari. I live in canada so most online retailers are a pain in the ...., as I am so very impatient. I am purchasing it from a canadian reseller, and I am wondering what else to get with it. I am ordering the provari, batteries, charger, and so far, I'm looking at some cartomizers. NO idea how dripping works, but I think what I want is some atty's I can drip on, a drip tip, A MAP CE2, and about 10 cartimizers. WOuld this be a good start? Use the map for my adv, use the dripping for trying new things, then fill the cartamizers with whatever I want. I really want to just add to cart and buy and not have and headaches, or have to order something else and wait weeks after I just bought my newest expensive toy.

PS The cartimizers that were recommended to me were
510 Kanger LR Horizontal Coil Cartomizers

Thanks All

Well, first advice would be not expect to get it 100 percent right the first time. What I will say is that you are definitely taking a step in the right direction. As far as equipment goes, the provari is top notch. I don't personally use it, but that is because I would rather spend my money on parts and make my own. I will own one, just because it is a fantastic device. Now, when it comes to carts, attys, tanks and whatnot, everybody is different. I started out with attys, moved to ce2, went to lr attys, moved to lr carts, and am now back to the occasional ce2 atty, sometimes in a tank, sometimes not. Your tastes WILL vary. So, for heating stuff, looks like you have a good little selection. Try it all if you have to, but don't go back to analogs!!!! Been analog free for a year myself, and haven't looked back!

Most people take awhile to find their daily vape eLiquid. Makes sence to drip to an atty while trying several juices, probably less wasteful. Once you've decided on what you really wanna vape alot, then get into larger quantities and containers. I DIY my own, 0N0FA, (Zero Nic, Zero Flavor Added). More than 8 months since my LAST analog. So, take what I say for what it's worth. JMHO

Cheers,

You don't need to buy LR with a provari although you can and I do use things like the ego mega dual coil cartomizers from Smoktech . I hope you also got the 510 to ego adapter and the extended end cap for the 18650 batteries . Even though the provari can do higher voltage does not mean you crank it up all the time in fact you rarely need to . The best part is the VV to find the sweet spot for different atomizers or cartomizers and also different juices need different voltages .

In fact, I'd recommend that you don't get LR cartos, or LR anything... Not only you don't need it with the ProVari, but you'll limit yourself on how much you can vary your voltage. Take a peek at the ProVari manual on their site, it explains it really well, and has a chart of resistances and voltages. Get the regular cartos (3 Ohms or so), and you can play with the voltage to hit the sweet spot for different juices - you wouldn't believe how much difference it makes to fit the power to the juice.

Also, get at least three attys if you can. Different juices stick in the atty like crazy sometimes. Menthol, for one. Some fruits. Rather than go through the whole rigmarole of cleaning attys every time you vape menthol, you can dedicate an atty to all menthol juices, for instance.

Another good thing to do is get several drip tips in different colors. That way you can tell what's in which carto at a glance.

It might take you awhile to find just the right juice - be ready for a looooong search. Unless you get very lucky. :)

Congrats on deciding to get a ProVari right at the beginning. I wish I did. It's a fantastic piece of equipment.

Cheers.
