Congrats on your decision. The beauty of GG's is that they run forever. The Odysseus is coming soon. Thats a feeding/repairable atomizer but i think thats about it. What voltage do you want to run? Are you a dripper, carto or feeder person? Knowing this, some others might be able to enlighten you
Thanks for replying quickly Guys. I plan on using the 4.8v NiMh batteries, maybe until the kick comes out, then use 18490s.What intrigues me is The Odysseus, but will run 3.0 ohm cartos/ Liquinators before I get one of those.

Not right now there isn't. Also it looks like the next shipment will have the new upgraded button and a new style air controll ring but that change is purely cosmetic.
COV is your only option for buying GG products as he has Exclusive Reseller rights for the US.
Cool, I'm sure those changes are simply upgradable if wanted, right? I love to tinker, and the GGTS looks like something I can fiddle with when I'm bored

The GG is a lifetime device. If you like to tinker, you will love the UFS. I can only imagine what the Ody will be like but everything GG makes is outstanding. Its all i use now. Nothing comes close to fit or function
The new button is functional it is brass without nickel plating which is a better conductor however it may need to be cleaned more often. The spring may have been upgraded also but again a small change. The air controll ring is cosmetic you can see what it is like in the new 801 cap thread imeo posted.
Cosmetically, I probably want the nickel plating to with SS. Also, is the magentic switch worth getting?

I think it is all down to personal preference. I don't like magnets I'n the newer style buttons because the button press is to soft since you can only fit 2 magnets in there. On my 1 old style button I love the magnets.
Yeah, I can imagine that. The only mechanical mod I own is a Reo, and I like putting in a little strength to trigger.
I will be honest about the magnets as it pertains to my preference. I was lucky that my first GGTS had that upgrade already in it. I do enjoy it but as Fright points out, on the lower profile of the 2011/SS GGTS series and later, I am not sure I don't prefer the spring for the slightly stronger resistence on the push.
It will be interesting to see how the brass spring in the just redesigned button works. If it allows for greater conductivity, I am pretty sure my magnets will be gracing someone elses GG.
As foiir the new(old?) style fluted top ring, I should be getting 008 back soon with one on it. As mentioned it is purely cosmetic but I will be posting pictures of 008's return to life so folks will be able to get a feel for what it looks like on a GGTS.

I just posted the one with the bottom tube sitting on my TMF #1376. I will post what I have of the before pix in a new thread and then the after pix when I get that bad bou back! Shouldn't be long now!
If you want to use a liquinator on your GGTS, you'll need either some adapters (510-->901, 901-->510) or the Stealth cap. Just FYI. (You can use the tank without these, but it just looks silly IMO)
Most tanks will work with a 901 rethreaderand a 901 to 510 adapter if you remove the collector tank cap
