Seriously, if you want to start small, a couple of disposable syringes, some empty bottles, nic base, PG and/or VG is all you need. Just get a couple/few flavorings to play around with, unless you just want to go unflavored. Personally, I really enjoy unflavored with 80% VG, 10% PG, and 10% water. A cheap plastic tray or shallow tub can be nice to work in, in case of spills. Disposable gloves and safety glasses are recommended if using high strength nic base. Keep a roll of paper towels handy.
You can put clear tape or nail polish on the outside of the syringes to protect the markings and use them for a long tome. Make sure you get blunt tipped needles too, one fat one and one small one. Once you start doing bigger batches, more tools become useful.
TY for the reply.. I love this place.. I have all my stuff sitting in my cart from wizardlabs. there are having a sale. The only thing that throws me off is nic I like low nic.. they also have a huge supply of flavors.. so I would have to buy my nic from someone else.. but the vg and the pg they have listed is a great price.
Another suggestion: don't try to make your first batches too small. It is possible to make 3 ml batches, but then your measurements have to be very precise, especially the flavorings. 10 ml is a good starting point, in my opinion.
well I was going to aim for 10 to 15 ml batches. I will list the stuff I have going in my cart..1,3,5,10,20 ml syringes 3 of each. 50 mm funnel,10 10mil bottles and 10 30mil bottles

Honestly, all you need to start is some 1ml, 3ml and 10ml syringes, 3 or 4 14 gauge blunt needles and glass bottles to mix directly into. I've never seen the need for beakers or flasks unless you're working on an industrial scale.
What are flasks and beakers for, lol.
I just squirt all my junk into a standard 15ml dropper top bottle, simple and cheap.

You might need 1 or 2 empty 250ml bottles to downmix your nicotine to a lower (safer) level, for mixing, most are 100mg per ml.

USP PG can be had from Tractor Supply for about 22 bucks a gallon, but not all stores carry it.
They also have cheap syringes and needles, but the needles are sharp, and need to be cut/ground off.

Guess I gotta subscribe to this one seeing as how I was planning on getting Nude's basic starter kit next paycheck hehe..
Bouoy - check out any one of the many e-juice calculators online and the numbers and ratios will start to make sense.. The higher the nic level of your base, the less of it you use. The ratio of nicotine juice to VG and PG added determines how much its diluted.. I went and did the math a week or so ago while I was browsing all the various DIY supplies and the 'basic' kit I was going to get actually wont make that much juice in the end it turns out once I figured out how much I could make at a 24 and 18mg nic level.. You only get 50ml of 38mg base with it, so if I was to make my regular old 18mg with it, thats only going to make me around 100ml of actual juice.. That reminds me, since Im bored at work I guess I can finish my little spreadsheet I was doing comparing what comes with the kit to buying the supplies on their own hehe.. I keep waiting for Wizard Labs to come out with their kits but that things said Coming Soon for awhile now.. Better go check again..

I wish wizard labs would save everything in your cart. I have had to redo it 3 times.. cause I start looking at the flavors and get tied up with stuff around here and forget I hit refresh and have to start over.. I think with me doing 3 of everything. plus a funnel a bunch of bottles I was under $50 not counting the needles..
They save things in the cart if your logged in. I know this because i just found a bunch in my cart from last weekend when I kinda stayed out too late, drank too much and started a serious order when I got home at 3am...
To clarify what Monotremata said, Bouoy, in ejuicemeup (and every other ejuice calculator I've tried) there's a field to input the base nicotine strength you plan to use in your recipe and another field for the desired finished product. It's all just a ratio of PG, VG, flavoring, and nic so there's no need to pre-dilute it.
lol well Rowdy was right I logged in to place my order. yeah it was doubled from before.. you can go nuts buying the flavors since they are on sale. the wife picked 3 I grabbed a lot of different stuff. I need to find a place to get my needles since they were out.
Hi, not sure if this will help anyone but found 3 very small funnels in pks at Bed Bath and Beyond for $1. Bought 2 pks and they fit snugly into my 10,15 and 30 ml bottles.
